Grandpa, do you regret sending Hades to the Isle?
"He's my brother and I hate the idea of meddling in mortal affairs while also risking the balance between Life and Death by sending him there...but no.
Takeovers may be a running tradition in our family but he didn't *just* try to take over Olympus, humiliating us in the process.
He also kidnapped my son and stole his immortality, preventing me from being by his side until he turned 18...after which Hercules gave it all up which I still don't understand but don't tell him I said that. Hades forgot his place and undermined my authority and there are lines you can't cross with the King of the gods.
Now, I wasn't planning to have him stay there for all eternity, just a few centuries to teach him a lesson. Zoe's told me about this little-what did it they call it, rehab?-project that the mortals set up where they put him now. It's quite amusing, so I shall allow it.
As for his kids ...they haven't done anything as far as I know. So if they want to visit with their mother, so be it. But hopefully when Zoe's not around.

"Aww, Uncle Z, don't you know that your actions have consequences?"
"First things first: Persephone? She isn't my mother. She's my step-mother, and even then it's not like that matters because she's not around for half the year, and the half she is around, Hades doesn't let me near her. I'm 'illegitimate'. The nice word for being the half human weakling of the four of us. I never got the chance to know my mother. She died from an infection after she had me because Auradon wouldn't send any medicine across the bridge."
"Secondly, I'm not even surprised that you don't seem to know what Hades did to me. Not like you cared to save me, anyway. He turned me into a soldier - no, a monster. I was his guard dog. When someone didn't pay the price, I was sent to collect. I hurt people. Villains, sidekicks, and their kids alike. Know why? Because there was no way out. Not for me. For the twins, yeah. They had the chance to leave. But they didn't. Because unlike you, they're loyal enough to risk everything they know they could've had, all to try and keep me from doing something I honestly wouldn't regret."
"I don't need your permission to do shit, and I definitely don't need your permission to visit Persephone. You don't own me, Your Highness. Fuck you."
