Take this story for example which is still developing from yesterday (Jan 29)

Layan (15) and her sister Hind (6) were trapped in a family car surrounded by the corpses of their family members who have been targeted by Israel

Layan manages to reach the Red Crescent, who have published a recording of her final words, as she sustains a gunshot wound.

The team tries to guide her through and promises her that they are coming to help. Layan was killed, leaving her sister alone surrounded by tanks and the bodies of her family members.

The Red Crescent team that was dispatched to rescue the girls has not been heard of since (about 20 hours ago) and no one knows the fate of 5 year old Hind.

I don't have words anymore.

"This child stayed with us on the phone for more than three hours. Her words were consistently repeated: "Come take me, come take me. Send someone to take me. What time is it? How far is your house from me? Come and take me."

No news or updates on Hind yet or the rescue team that went out to save her.

This is absolutely devastating.

The two paramedics that were sent to rescue Hind were also found killed. Their ambulance was bombed by an israeli strike.

I mean these are the same people who think land back is what Israel is doing - destroying the local flora and replacing it with European plants, poisoning the water, salting the earth by flooding the ground with seawater, and poisoning the air as well.

But land back is absolutely about the dismantling of the US and return of Indigenous sovereignty - especially in Hawai'i.
