Red Son and MK carry some new stuff into the bathroom, a couple of shallow plastic baby tubs, a couple of bottles of baby shampoo and body wash, soft wash clothes, and some cups.
"Okay you two. Bath time!" MK announced while carefully dislodging Lihua from his back, so that he could get her ready.
"With how often you try to fight usdressing you, now you don't want to be naked." Red Son comments as Mingxiao squirmed around. MK snorts while tossing Lihuas onesie into the hamper. And nappy in the bin.
MK grabs one of the removable showerheads, and tests the water before grabbing the smaller of the plastic tubs.
"Normally baby Monkeys don't need to bathe, but you little girl just had to try grabbing my food, while I was eating it." MK tells her, she just chirps and looks cute.
He gently cups some water and pours it on her to get some of the surface mess off, getting a string of chirps from Lihua, though what kind, MK wasn't sure.
Red Son finally got Mingxiao out of his onesie, and copied MK with the prep, though he double checked the temperature since most of the time the water just feels cold compared to his body heat.
Keeping Mingxiao 'standing' on his little clawed hooves with one hand Red Son copies MK and gently pours a cupped hand full of water over his son who seems to try shaking the water off, his little tail definitely wags to whip the water off.
MK had got as much of the surface mess as he could, then with a tail he grabs one of the shampoo, and gently used it on Lihuas fur, especially the spots stained with food residue, being careful when getting close to her face. Once he worked it into a lather MK lowered Lihua into the baby tub to rinse out the soap.
Red Son meanwhile used the baby fur shampoo on Mingxiaos legs, and a bit on his head, then switched to a baby bodywash for his upper body. Then had a bit of a struggle getting his little calf into the tub. But Red Son won out, and started washing off the soaps.
Both of them mostly spent the time describing what they were doing to the babies, or what was happening to their sibling. Showing this wasn't an odd form of punishment from their perspective.
Once all the soap was washed off, even though they had to use the showerhead to make sure there wasn't some soap still in their fur, then came towel drying first, then Mk paused to grab his phone to see if it was safe to use a blow dryer on baby Demons fur.
Only for them to be caught a bit off guard when Mingxiao made a grunt sound, and suddenly gave off enough heat to make the remaining water turn to steam.
"Huh. Looks like he got some of your fire. Or at least he can generate some major heat." MK laughs.
Red Son checks for any wet areas before grabbing a brush, and working on Mingxiaos legs, only getting a couple of snags.
Lihua was dried with a very strong hand fan, since the hair dryer was definitely to hot for her. Once she was nice and fluffy, MK took a couple of pictures, then used a small soft bristle brush on her fur, before changing to hand grooming her fur.
After the fur was finished, they cared for the little claws, and hooves, making sure that they didn't mess anything up, or cut little nails to short.
Once that was done MK grabbed them clean diapers, and some new outfits.
Followed by a little photoshoot to show the grandparents. And a little apology that Mingxiao heating himself up didn't make him fluffy, just a bit frizzy.
[I have been watching too many pet grooming videos, and for a second almost described them like it was a fur salon, and not a bath.]
