Robert whispered as he crawled into bed with a sleeping Kym. He let her sleep in as long as he could before he knew it was time for them to get ready and head to her appointment. He softly kissed her forehead, earning a bashful smile.

The high school lover chapter-1

I wake up it’s the first day of high school. I get dressed do my hair and my makeup I am kinda nervous I just moved here from Australia and I have been homeschooled I don’t really know what it’s like at a school.But I guess I’ll have to just go in there and be me. First period is starting I’m trying to introduce myself but everyone is laughing at me its the way I talk I guess at least what this kid said named Tyler. I tried to ignore him and his gang all day but they kept on being mean and saying I don’t belong it’s only the first day it’s gonna be a living hell for the rest of the year at this rate.until I hear a voice from under the stairs saying “kym over here” . So I walk where voice is and I see a guy dark brown hair with bright blue eyes he’s also in my first period. He looks at me and says “I’m Robert wanna be friends”. I couldn’t help but wonder if he was with Tyler and his gang and he was setting me up so I had to see so I said “sure but aren’t you in Tyler’s Gang” “no Tyler’s never liked me” “oh well if we are gonna be friends than tell me about yourself” “okay well I’m a freshman i moved to America 2 years ago from Canada but I was born in Croatia and lived there tell I was 7 so tell me about yourself kym” Well I can I’m from Australia I just moved here like two weeks ago and my parents are divorced so my mom wanted to start over here in America and I’m a dancer I was homeschooled because I was a competitive dancer but I will be on a dance team here but I just need to get away from that for a while" “wow I’m sorry if you don’t mind me asking how long have your parents been divorced” “I don’t mind they have been been divorced sense I was 7 but I don’t really think about it” “okay so it looks like we’re late for class would you like to eat lunch with me?” “I’d love that”. Time goes by Tyler and his gang are being mean in class than it was finally lunch time I’m looking for Robert I don’t see until I see him waving his hands up and down. So I walk over to him he says “hey kym can I have your number so we can hang sometime” “sure my number is 456-289-7456” “okay thanks I’ll text you tonight” “okay”. Lunch goes on Robert and I talk about our lives and we ended up laughing a lot I don’t know it’s like I’ve known him all my life and I think I’m falling for him I know it’s only the first day but there’s something there but I don’t wanna ruin it we are friends maybe someday it will be more but friend zone for now. School gets over I walk into my house set down my bag I see my mom and my older brother Trevor sitting at the kitchen counter I try to avoid them by just walking in my room but that didn’t work because my mom said “hi sweetie how was your first day of school did you make any friends?” “I made a friend and school was fine” I couldn’t tell her about the bully’s or else she would go to the school and I don’t wanna go through that. “That’s good what’s her name” my mom says “well actually his name is Robert and he is a really nice friend” “AWW kymmie has a boyfriend” Trevor says with a laugh “stay out of it Trevor he’s just a friend!” “Sure that’s what everyone says” “whatever trev”. After that I run upstairs to my room trying to avoid my dumb brother I lay on my bed thinking about Robert how cute he is and how his eyes sparkle bright brighter than the stars.after that I hear a buzz on my I grab my phone I got a text it’s from Robert it said “Hey kym it’s Robert” “Hey what’s up” “Hey kym wanna come hang tomrrow” “sure where at” “Well we could go to the mall and I can bring you to dinner than drop you off” “That sounds lovely I can’t wait” “Well I have to go to bed night beautiful❤️” “Night💕” OMG did that just happen I just have to let it go and wait tell tomrrow.
