the concept of mona already being attention seeking and disturbed before the red man was placed inside her is incredibly interesting. if only there was something done with this.
the concept of mona refusing to relinquish responsibility over the deaths of 100+ people onto the red man and saying with her chest that she did all of that and would've done it regardless of whether or not he existed is so interesting! is this something that is going to be explored. or.
I’ve took this admission from Mona as a hint that the reason why Mona was indoctrinated into the cult in the first place was because she had a history of violent and depraved behavior at a young age and wanted to groom her into being the ultimate killer for the Red Man.
It’s for this reason why I like to think that Mona is probably the Red Man’s favorite, like some AM and Ellen type shit.
I'm so cooked. The mention of AMellen made me perk up like a gazelle in a silent field...
I really like the idea that The Red Man treats Mona the same way AM does Ellen in the game. Instead of point blank run of the mill "Do this or I hurt you" abusive talk I'm imagining now he'd enable Mona's urges in ways that are playful.
Seeing that violence is something Mona is already familiar with, it would be boring and pointless to try and threaten her. Especially since she's not really even all that eager to be alive. Give her a challenge. Wound her pride by tossing in seeds of doubt so that she has reason to move forward and a need to "prove" something. Kinda similarly to how a child might be pushed into something dangerous purely because they don't want to endure being made fun of by their friends. ( Which is funny because Cory literally dies to her for the same reason.)
ohmygosh YES
I love the Red Man being the closest thing to a parental figure that Mona has, I can see Mona always having a desire to belong, to be loved or just to be seen, no one wanted Mona her entire life and the Red Man never lets her forget that.
Mona would be a very loving and nurturing mother yet undeniably a very bad influence on her kid(s), she’d be saying shit like,
“it’s okay to say that you hate that boy sweetie, everyone has that one person that they’d love to see face down in a ditch on the interstate, it’s a part of growing up.”
“Remember to twist the knife after stabbing someone, that way the wound won’t close and they’ll bleed out faster, now let’s go over how to properly dispose of a body and we’ll get some lunch!”
”awww sweetheart, if you want to make friends I’ll pack a rag and some chloroform with your lunch and you can bring one of your little classmates home, I’ll leave the basement door unlocked for you.”
“No honey, you can’t have a sip of momma’s beer, you’ll have to wait till you’re at least thirteen, that’s the age when I started drinking.”
*Mona’s kid is watching My Little Pony in the same room while she’s painting* “Ugh, I don’t understand why the purple one doesn’t just kill her friends, they are all nothing but nuisances, especially the pink one.”

evenin yall its 10pm and im having a think
If Mona had a stable lifestyle, she probably would've adopted a kid rather than going through pregnancy. In a way, she'd be giving a kid the chance she never had. A chance to have a family.
I'm not gonna talk about her parenting style because I know y'all already shared your ideas on that fact many times /pos

No one doing this should be allowed to call themselves a feminist.

Let's not beat around the bush: Children's author JK Rowling sexually harassed a woman. In some jurisdictions, this would count as sexual abuse. JK Rowling has committed a sex crime against a woman and fell back on the old rape apologist standby of "she was asking for it".
I hope your nostalgia is worth it
whenever you see C#m on a chord sheet you know the musician was just playing bar chords and couldn’t resist the temptation of the most annoying chord in the god damn book
so i just noticed that c sharp minor is a bit shocking to read when spelled out in shorthand
whenever you see cum on a chord sheet you know the musician was just jackin it
Tina x mona is only good when you acknowledge tina is lowkey mean as fuck too. Was getting murdered and paused to talk about how fugly her kidnapper was
(‘her face, oh god her face’)
Its also SOMEWHAT implied she tried to fight them both while in hell but idk.
I’ve noticed that this fandom either portrays Tina as an uwu dumpling soft girl or a masochistic pervert and lowkey mean girl. Mona and Tina are basically Nicole and Jecka from Class of ‘09.
don't worry mona you will always have tumblr fan accounts to find you attractive
