Kurt nodded, biting his lip. He really hoped he was actually ready for a family. He kept having thoughts that he wouldn’t be a good dad, or something would go wrong, or his kid would hate him. But he knew he was worrying about nothing. “You said she.” He grinned, then shook the thought away. “Probably lighter hair… I think her eyes’ll be blue, maybe. Or green.”

"Probably..." Rachel agreed as the waitress came over to take their order. She placed her normal vegan friendly order and let Kurt give his. "You're going to be a great Dad. You and Ethan both. He's so ready for this. I probably wouldn't have agreed if I hadn't seen how much he's matured in the past year."

Kurt smiled. “I’m hoping they’ll be fine with it. Carole knows a lot about my relationship with both Blaine and Ethan from awhile ago, so I think she had a little bit of an idea that this was coming.” He shrugged a little bit and leaned back a bit. In his mind all he could think of was his family. Ethan, him, and their kid. Then Casey and Rachel and Evan and Merril… “I really can’t wait to be a father. That day might just be the best day of my life.”

"I hope so." Rachel told him. "Because it's going to happen now." She knew that eventually she would feel overwhelmed by this because she knew herself. When that happens without a doubt she knew that she had Kurt and Ethan and Casey's support to help prevent her from going crazy. "I wonder if she will have dark hair. Or maybe be like you and have a medium colored hair."

Kurt nodded. “Yeah, definitely.” He secretly hoped he would have a little, girl, though. With beautiful hair and eyes. She would be New York’s best dressed child. And she could model, too, if she wanted to, of course. “I feel really safe bringing them into a crazy family like this, though. She’ll be loved and supported and definitely cared for. It’s a good feeling, feeling like this.” He smiled. “Oh, right… I haven’t told Carole or Burt yet. They still think I’m married to Blaine…”

Kurt said, she. Rachel smiled because she wanted a girl, too. A boy would be good aw well. Truth be told, she just wanted a healthy baby. "I'm sure they will be understanding. Carole is a romantic and your Dad loves you no matter what you do." She promised him. "And if all else fails my Dads will be more than welcoming!"

Kurt raised an eyebrow. “You’re moving in with Casey? That’s awesome!” He smiled. He licked his lips as he mentally went over the list in his head. “Ethan really loves the name Piper for a girl. Piper Celeste… I like the name Abigail, or Elizabeth. I really love the name Elizabeth because there’s so many nicknames for that. She could pick Ellie, Elle, Beth, Eliza, Lizzy… So many choices.” Kurt laughed. “As for boy names, I like Tucker and Adrian. Not sure about Ethan, though. He really wants a girl.”

"We still have so long until we can even really decide on names." Rachel sat back. "There is so much that we have to do. Thank God, for our large and crazy family. All of our bases will be covered." She smiled back at Kurt. "Our parents are going to flip." She said realizing that she hadn't even told the plan to her Dads yet. She only talked to her Shelby.

Kurt smiled. “That kid is going to have a crazy family. Ethan and I, and you and Casey, and I’m sure Evan and Merril will be involved in one way or another… They are going to be so spoiled.” He laughed. He couldn’t believe that this was actually happening. “Ethan and I were discussing names the other day. I wish we could find out the gender right away…” He frowned a little but pushed it away. “Any other interesting news in the wonderful life of Rachel Berry?”

"Oh I am so sure this child will be even more spoiled than royalty!" She giggled placing her hand on her stomach. "I'm moving in with Casey. We're both so excited for this baby. She's been so wonderful about all of this and she's going to be excited about the news." Rachel took a deep breath. She grinned at Kurt. "What are some of the names you came up with?"

“I’m fantastic!” He smiled. “Oh, everything is great. A lot is different, though. Life with Ethan is definitely a lot different than life with Blaine.” He chuckled a little. But then he heard those words and his jaw dropped. After a moment it registered in his mind and his face lit up in a grin. He reached across the table and grabbed Rachel’s hands in his own. “Rachel! Oh my God! I’m gonna be a dad!” He let go of one of her hands to cover his mouth. “This is incredible!”

Rachel grinned widely at him. Her previous thoughts on Kurt being happier and better off with Ethan were confirmed just in the first five minutes of their reunion dinner. Tears began to well up in her eyes just seeing him so happy, she didn't doubt for a moment that she made the right decision to do this for him. "It is. I found out today, they did the blood test and we're all going to be a crazy progressive large family together."

Kurt almost squealed at the sight of Rachel. He settled instead with just hugging her back as tight as he possibly could. “Rachel! It feels like it’s been ages!” He grinned and pulled away, holding her at arm’s length. “How are you?” He asked, before pulling her in for another hug. They were escorted over to a booth and Kurt sat down. 

“So much has happened in such a small amount of time. I feel stressed but ecstatic at the same time. It’s all so confusing,” Kurt laughed, crossing his legs under the table out of habit.

"I am great! How are you?" She sat down across from him. "I know I don't even know what all is going on." Rachel agreed. "Confusing but good right? I hope it's good." She bit her bottom lip. She was going to burst. As her best friend Kurt would always be the first person she told when good things happened. She was going to burst. "Kurt, I'm pregnant." She couldn't hold it in any longer. "I wanted you to be the first to know because you're my best friend and now you're going to be a father."

The last few weeks had been incredible for Kurt. First he was officially Ethan’s boyfriend, and then Ethan’s fiance, and soon they would find out if they would be fathers. That thought alone was enough to keep Kurt happy for years. He grabbed his keys, wallet, and phone before leaving the apartment. He hoped that soon he and Ethan would go out and look at buying a house for their family. Their family. Kurt was actually starting a family with Ethan. Giddy with excitement, he made his way to the restaurant he agreed to meet Rachel at.

Running a hand along his hair, he made sure he looked impeccable before entering the building and looking around for his best friend. He felt like he hadn’t seen the girl in ages, considering he was working the day she and Ethan went to the doctor. He was excited to hear about how it went.

Rachel was giddy. She couldn't wait to share this with her best friend who she hadn't seen in a very long time. They had so much to discuss. His engagement with Ethan, Rachel moving in with Casey and the most important news that she received that day. She missed Kurt, a lot. She couldn't remember the last time they just hung out. Way before his and Blaine's divorce. She should have known something was wrong with Kurt just on that alone. Rachel was confident that he was happy now.

She got to the restaurant and instantly spotted her fashionista best friend. "Kurt!" She ran over and pulled him into a quick, tight hug. "I miss you so much!"

Casey giggled slightly. “Are you okay with me down there so soon after?”

"I want you, unless you don't want to go down there so soon." Rachel told her, really hoping Casey would pick door 1.

Casey sucked softly on her lower neck, determined to leave a mark on her girlfriend. “So, can I do anything down below or will it be a no-go for a few days?” she said between nips

Rachel hadn't thought to ask about being able to have sex with her girlfriend. She really didn't think it would hurt anything. "Oh..." She didn't want to ruin the mood and she really wanted Casey. "It can't hurt anything."

Casey slotted between Rachel’s legs, kissing down her neck and tongue dancing over her clavicle. “You seriously taste so good..”

Rachel bit her bottom lip, letting Casey kiss and lick her body. She ran her fingers through her hair, grabbing fists full of her dark hair. "It's all yours."

Casey hopped off the bench to scoop the petite brunette and carry her to the bedroom, placing her down on the soft mattress and catching her lips in a kiss

She wrapped her arms around her neck and wrapped a leg around her waist as they kissed on the bed. Rachel smiled into Casey's kiss.

“Well then, I’ll accommodate the every single need.” Casey promised, lips skimming over Rachel’s jaw and neck.

Rachel moaned at her touch. Her promise that she knew she would fulfill. Rachel grabbed Casey's hips and pulled them closer to her. Arching her neck to her lips. "God I love you, Case."
