Hey so @partymeowth and I ( @jellyfilledriceballs) thought we’d do an introductory post of sorts, to avoid confusion for anyone who might be interested in this blog!
This blog was pretty much just created to be a sort of dumping-grounds for the random ideas Mel and I have regarding this ship, it’s just for fun & it’s not super organized right now! We mostly just wanted a place to put our thoughts. We’re hoping to post all sorts of stuff though, including headcanons, drawings, snippets of RPs, drabbles, random thoughts, etc.
So here’s some general background information for most of the AUs we have going on here:
Most of the AUs and ideas we come up with tend to be be based around the idea that, after the events of Sinnoh, the Team Rocket Trio get demoted rather than promoted like in canon (as a result they’re usually stuck close to Home Base in Kanto rather than being allowed to go on the Unova mission)
Our AUs also happen in a scenario where time works normally, for the most part, so all the characters have aged over time. (It sometimes varies slightly, but generally we run with the idea that Brock is 19 when he parts ways with Ash and Dawn at the end of Sinnoh, and 20-21ish by the time him and James meet again)
Please be aware that while we try to always keep canon in mind, and we try to approach things as logically as we can, we do also tend to take many liberties so things may not always 100% make sense! And sometimes we like to explore ideas that don’t really make much sense just for the fun of it too so it can be a bit of a mixed bag.
