Got my first 9-5 job so ive been dead tired, here's a bit of art I did for ArtFight and owed works though!

" Tatsukoi Anniversary Design Exchange! "

I was questioning if I should join this for a while but I am glad I entered last minute!

These are simple designs for our design exchange for Tatsukoi's second-year anniversary! I was so so SO nervous that the receiving parties would be unhappy with them but both seemed pretty happy about them and that... just warms my heart... TTvTT

I had a lot of fun working on these too!! The left one was inspired by Apollo so I gave them a lot of celestial body references and Tarot-inspired markings with some flowers resembling the sun which I've concepted in the past for the world!

The one on the right was inspired by liminal spaces, I incorporated a little bit of several liminal images into the final piece to make it a more rounded out design! The planets were honestly a really fun concept to execute and I always love working with void darkness in designs!!

" The Nefarious Batfly "

Another Rain World Art Fight piece for one Echo of the nefarious batfly...

I saw this thing and I was like... Oh yeah... This is peak... They wrote that the character can carry bombs and explosive spears so I tried to aim for making it a kind of DEATH FROM ABOVE feeling, which they said came across well so WOOHOO!! I also tried to paint a textured background for this one but I think it came out kind of dog water... :'] Coloring this one was fun though, I used teal and orange for it! :]

I am also very much doing these as warm ups for my other projects

Weeping Hollowed Stems (RW AF)

Wahoo!! Finished this piece for one Parfait for the Rainworld Discord server Art Fight thing

I really freaking love the design of this fella, and I wanted to draw more of Parfait's characters but I did not expect to get attacked as much as I did this year and with Tatsukoi anniversary being this month I am really constricted on time... BUT I did my best and had fun and that's all that really matters! :]

Cannot overstate how fun this design was to draw though, it's been TOO LONG since I drew an iterator proper...

" Birthday Sidequest "

In between working, I made a little drawing for my friend of Snow of his beasting; Mr. Omen - because it was his birthday GOORAY!!

Freaking love this design and I had a lot of fun drawing it, so I may draw it again... Muahahahahahahaaaa >:] Checkerboard overlays are so hard to make look consistent and good though... I did not realize this until this drawing... :splat:

" Guts and Gorey "

This guy is Guts owned by KittKat! I absolutely LOVE this guy's design but also… First time I passed out because of a design- I am a venephobiac (fear of veins) and I got lightheaded and passed out while working on the vein markings… I try to overcome my fears as much as possible and since I am very receptive to exposure therapy I took on this challenge anyways!! >:] His owner really liked it too, so I'm very happy! :]

RW Art Month - Day 28 "Nightcat No More"

Of course on the 28th I got HORRIBLY sick with the flu so I couldn't finish this NEARLY in time... But I love making anniversary pieces for Rain World and I would love to at least make one every year! ... Despite the fact I'm usually SWAMPED with work during March...

But yeah! This is also a celebration of the release of The Watcher!! Nightcat has always been a favorite of mine and it was so delightful hearing that they'd finally have their own campaign! I haven't gotten a chance to play it yet as I am poorer than I have been in a long while but when I do... I'll be sure to savor it! >:] I also loved referencing The Watcher promotion image for the cake and background! Another cheeky reference is that I made the confetti colors of NSH, FP, and Moon so they could cameo in the drawing... Also Hunter always has to look polite and have his eyes closed, I've accidentally done it for every anniversary drawings and I can't stop now.

I PROMISE I WILL DRAW MORE DOWNPOUR SLUGCATS AT SOME POINT... I am just a stubborn veteran player... Forgive me...

This year my art style has been so inconsistent as I experiment too, compare this to my Day 1 Rainworld piece and it looks COMPLETELY different... I wanna reign it in a bit but work comes first!

Also it does NOT feel like I've been playing this game for 8 years... What do you mean it's been 8 years since 2017... What do you mean...

I have been in hell dealing with a bad case of the flu, something like this always happens when I got shit to do I swear to god... :splat:

Anyways, as a warm-up from not drawing for almost a week, I did a silly reference to how Hatsune Miku looks in the Ashes to Ashes Kaito song because I think that frame is just so goofy an menacing using my character Strawby!

These next two months are Tatsukoi's anniversary celebration and we've got a lot going on! I am super drained but also really excited! Hopefully I will feel better soon and I can drive through all my shit
