Rewatching the anime and it’s funny to think about how while the whole climatic fight is going on with Overhaul chasing Eri & Midoriya, Nemoto’s just lying on the floor all mangled after dropping like 60 feet (prob more I’m bad at estimating heights)
I’m glad for this scene later showing that he somehow survived it at least
I always wondered too how Sakaki managed to reach him, was he also crawling the whole time (just much slower)? Or did Shin just happen to fall right next to him? I don’t know which is more ridiculous
I thought it would be fun to share more hcs, these are a little less based in canon than the heights one. The ages too are based on the raid arc to make it simple
Kinda long and wordy where I go into the reasons for them
- Nemoto: 38, but I could see him in his 40s.
I see him as a Capricorn, with his birthday being early January (idk about deciding an exact day lol)
- Sakaki: 33-34
February birthday so amethyst (which back then was thought to prevent intoxication) would be his birthstone
- Katsukame: 24
This is based on one of the character guides that I think described as him as being like a younger brother to Overhaul
- Overhaul: canonically was 27 during the arc
-Chronostatis: 28-29.
His birthday is also just a couple of days after Eri’s, so Overhaul can ignore both of theirs at the same time
- Hojo: 30
June birthday which usually is correlated with a non crystal birthstone, pearl, just to be ironic
- Setsuno: 25
He’s prob a Cancer too so summer birthday
- Tabe: 22
Idk it would be kinda cute if as the youngest member, he’d follow the others around and listen to their advice no matter how bad
- Tengai: 29
I like the idea of him actually being pretty young and inexperienced, and everyone else just assumes he’s a lot older and wiser than he really is
- Rappa: 28
Based this one off of his vigilantes appearance and assuming he was just slightly older than Mirko
- Mimic: Like mid forties, he’s way older than everyone else but they all forget cause of his ridiculous muppet form. He prob doesn’t care though since I’d imagine him being more secretive about his exact age/most personal stuff

Katsukame: again based on what the character guide book said, he would have already knew Chisaki since childhood
~6 years prior to the Shie Hassakai arc
Nemoto: Techincally the first bullet to officially join, since Rikiya was always around
Hojo: Joined pretty close after Shin, though they remained fairly distant
~5 years prior
Rappa: Since Rikiya and Rappa both fulfill similar roles of ‘strong guys who punches things’ (even Yu to an extent), I can see that maybe in the beginning Overhaul was trying to recruit a lot of big muscle power to really intimate others. But once he realized how much of a pain in the ass Rappa was, he started looking for more diversity
~4.5 years prior
Setsuno & Tabe: They both were prob joined within a few months of each other. Overhaul would have started to really get his hands full and have less time to focus on new recruits, so he just handed them over to Yu to be trained
~3 years prior
Sakaki: I like to think he already was already apart of the Yakuza for a while and got immediately paired up with Shin due to both being the most experienced
~1 and half prior to the arc
Tengai: It was stated in one of the extras that he was the final member to join. But sort of going with the idea that Overhaul used Hojo to look after the two new guys, and later Nemoto with Sakaki, he probably was hoping he could recreate this dynamic a third time with Rappa. This obviously failed tho since not only was Rappa annoyed about suddenly having a new leash around him, but cause Chisaki stopped trying to get the right personalities that meshed and was just relying on Tengai using brute force to stop him. (Ik we never really got a good look into how specifically Shin and Dei were able to coordinated well together but I also have a ton of thoughts on that)
Since Irinaka wasn’t actually apart of the Bullets, I can see him maybe joining through Pops instead, and he just happened to be one of the few ‘original’ members of the Shir Hassaikai to actually supported overhaul’s ideals
Ik the manga and anime were both super inconsistent with all their heights, but I tried my best to decide what would fit best based on comparing their general sizes to each other and canonical heights of other characters. Also I switch between centimeters and inches/feet a lot
My main reference point for a lot of these are the two group photos

Ranked shortest to tallest
-Sakaki: 176 cm
Both group pics shows him being just being a few inches shorter than Nemoto, especially in the anime where’s he’s practicing better posture by standing straighter
The shot of the two of them in the anime does make it obvious he’s shorter too, even though he is a little further back
He also seems to have a shorter torso/legs compared to Shin. So based on these there’s def a noticeable height difference between the two, but it was a little harder deciding how he was compared to the others. However, he looks just slightly teenie enough next to Setsuno to say he’s the shorter one
- Setsuno: 177 cm
A lot of the moments between the trio seemed to show the height order of Setsuno, Tabe, and Hojo.
And even though the trio are standing a little further back in the group pic, Toya still looks shorter than Chronos in both of them
-Chronostatis: 178 cm
These two together are especially inconsistent but Kurono is usually drawn as the shorter one. They’re pretty close though so it would be a small difference
- Chisaki: he’s listed as 179 cm in canon so I’m sticking with that
-Tengai: 186
Manga showed him being like a foot under Rappa, who’s like 7 feet
The anime does show him being shorter but he’s also taller in the group pic so idk I’m just choosing the height that I thinks fits
-Tabe: 189 cm
Just sorta basing it off the earlier pics of him next to Hojo and Setsuno, it seems like a good middle ground between them
-Nemoto: 194 cm
He was fucking huge in his first page but all of them were a little off when introduced in the manga. The anime’s introduction is more held back but he’s still towering over Overhaul
You can also see how long he is here too even with him being hunched
-Mimic: 200 cm
Hard to say exactly cause he’s sitting/lying down when next to others. He’s big tho so idk maybe about as tall as Sir night eye
-Hojo: 207 cm
He’s like a foot taller than Suneater who’s 177 cm so I’m using that lol
-Rappa: 216 cm
I couldn’t find him a shot of him standing straight next to Taishiro in his fat form, but using Kirishima as a comparison, he’s way shorter compared to Fatgum than he is to Rappa, so he’s definitely under 8’2
If we’re using vigilantes, he easily towers over O’clock who is 6’1. So honestly anything between these range prob works, but 7ish feet makes sense when compared to Kirishima
-Rikiya: like between 8 to 10 feet, I’m not going to bother being specific since his height changes when using his quirk, he’s just a big bitch
I understand too that this list isn’t going to be the most accurate, as I mentioned stuff inconsistent and I was also eyeballing a lot of it too. But again, I really doubt these guys were drawn with very set in stone details (look at what the fuck Deidoro was wearing on his first page), this post was really just done for fun and to write about the characters
