"Damnit, I told you to keep one alive!" A leader with a good head on his shoulders? Maybe. Lot of those raiders looked up to Auto but Jax didn't. He's just someone he knew, someone who he owed a debt to.

"He was askin' for it. Got tired of hearing the same ole begging." A smirk. "Besides, the next one Max brings in, will know their place. Examples are good for these settlers." "You better be fucking right." Just then the door swings open. A woman held in rope and gagged is tossed at the floor of the heavy set man. His face covered by a green bandana. A smaller one behind, wearing the typical Raider gear. "Found a one you'd really like, boss. Screamin' and cryin' the whole way." He snickers. The kind of snicker that made one uneasy. There's a reason Max didn't babysit the prisoners. "Well, look at that. Just in time. Put her in the empty cell, across from Steele's 'example.' This time, keep her alive. Can't get what we need if we can't use them for a trade." A fucking trade for simple things they could get on their own if they used their mind. Max grabs the girl, opens the cage door and pushes her in. He does remove the bind around her mouth and her hands only to shove her in, hard. He knew that Jax would hate him for it and there's nothing more exciting then poking the bear. He flashes a smile to Jax before following Auto out of the classroom. Removing his knife he points it at the woman. "I don't wanna hear your cry, or beg or tell me your life fucking story. No one cares here, darlin'. No one cares about what you have, had and that you're missing. Trust me."

🎤🎶 —— Flickering eyes went over to him, brow arched as she leaned on her side. Yeah, it was pretty clear. She was around patrons that drank heavily that she caught them snoozing on the bar enough to know the sign of someone just waking up. A soft scoff leaving her, lips stretched amusingly.

". . . see, I had a feeling you would agree. I mean, anyone with eyes open would totally see that. But uh, out of curiosity... What was the jump over the shark moment for you?"

Shark. Fuck, was it about sharks? Wasn't too interested in her words either. He takes a deep breath before glancing around. Back arches with arms stretched high in the sky before plopping back down in front of him. "The first ten minutes. Fucking boring." He said so bluntly. "How the heck did you stay awake through all that?"

It probably was a good movie. Something everyone would rave about. He's got better things to do than waste two hours watching something and hoping to use that as a conversation starter.

He fell asleep. The movie was drab and honestly from drinking the night before didn't help this outing. Who falls asleep on a blind date? He ain't exactly one to go on blind dates but when you're drunk and you promised your now former friends...

"What, oh.. right yeah.. unreal. Talk about a waste of money." He didn't remember what the movie was about.

Splatter. The walls, the air, the floor and even his face. The punches kept coming and the victim's face kept getting smaller and bloodier. This is what happens when you go behind Fontaine's back. This is what happens when you betray the man who's running this show. Jax finally had enough, no longer able to recognize the face under him. He stands up, fingers moving about to stretch from the constant hold of a fist. It was amazing, how the man still drew breath. He could hear the voice whimper, struggle to come forth as blood and saliva mix behind his lips. "P..lease.." Please. Please end it or please give mercy? Sure he may have had a dame, or a kid and to be honest, none of that mattered. Loyalty mattered and everyone knows better. "Go on, end it." A man standing by the door spoke out. Watching Jax almost beat the victim to death. Jax shook his head, reaching over to a table and grabbing a towel to wipe his hand and then his face. "He got the message." Leaving the room, he grabs his coat and makes his way down a hallway into the dining room. There sits Fontaine on one end of a six person table, and on the other end, Miss Evans. The sweetest bird you'd ever know. Her voice unmatched and frankly, Cohen should be paying her in gems instead of dirt. No one would be the wiser. Jax was more likely showing up late to the dinner unlike the others who stand and wait. He rather have a beer then escort the miss but alas, when Fontaine wants something or someone, he gets it- one way or another.

Fontaine stands, takes her hand in his and brings his lips ever so softly to the top of her hand. "Until we meet again." He murmurs between them giving her his best side. This was Jax's cue to make his way towards the broad. "He'll escort ya home." Jax refuses to look at her, as he's instructed not to. He gives a nod to his boss and then leads the woman out of the suite apartment and to the door. Opening it and letting her out, while still not looking in her direction. Fontaine however, watches her leave. The door closes behind them and they begin to walk out. Still he's distant, quiet and has a faint smell of blood on him. Must have gotten some in his hair. The bathysphere isn't too far off and their demeanor will change once they find their freedom in it. The door opens, the door closes and he sets a course to another level before sitting on the couch and slouching. Fucking exhausted.

Still refusing to look at her he speaks. "How was dinner?"
