his full name is nicholas eugene hart , but he goes by nicki hart.
he’s from sydney, australia , and he’s got that THICK accent !
he’s a solo musician and singer , and writes all of his songs.
he got his break at seventeen , and got shipped out from sydney to l.a !
he grew up with a father and a mother , but unfortunately his father wasn’t sober throughout most of nicki’s childhood. his father had a hard time with whiskey and tequila , and when nicki was thirteen , his father got alcohol poisoning , and passed away.
once his father died , his mother went into severe depression. she quit her job , started to drink exactly the way that his father did , and still does to this day. nicki remembers when she would keep the house clean , always went out and worked then came home and fixed food , and then one day everything changed. he hasn’t talked to his mother since he left , and she’s never seen him sing.
nicki had to grow up very fast with everything going on in the house. he was an only child , meaning he didn’t have anyone to talk to about what was going on. he didn’t want to leave his mom alone , and he was nervous that if he spoke about his issue with a friend that they would tell a teacher or an adult and he’d be taken away from his mother.
he always done his homework when he first got home then fixed himself a small cup of kraft mac n’ cheese , every single day until he left. the taste of mac n’ cheese makes him physically ill to this day.
when he was sixteen he got a guitar that his music teacher used to own , for his birthday since he didn’t get anything from his mother. his music teacher then taught him lessons every saturday morning and sometimes after school , and after a while he learned to play.
after he learned he decided to try and write some songs , and he’d preform them at a small diner that was a ten minute walk from his house. one night someone from a record company decided to come in after a show at the stadium , saw nicki playing , and the rest was history.
he never learned to drive until he was nineteen by his manager because his mom couldn’t afford him a car , and refused to teach him to drive.
he has a very bitter attitude for most things , considering everyone in his life has let him down somehow someway. he has major trust issues and doesn’t have many friends. but when he gets close to someone and loves , he loves hard.
he’s constantly in the tabloids for a lot of things , most of which aren’t true , most of which are , it’s a real guessing game with this one.
his manager thought it would be a good idea to be involved in the reality show , but nicki loathes the idea and has a very bad attitude because of it.
