Apart from the fetish side of the experience, I think a part of my fascination with pregnancy and birth is a longing for someone to just stay with me while I am going through a hard and important life event.

I plan on having at least one kid someday. I also plan on carrying at least one of my own kids. I fantasise about the experience because I find it comforting, and because in these fantasies I am not alone in my experience. In these fantasies I have a partner.
