Bound in Pain - Binding Curse for an Abuser

A Nonny requested a curse for an abuser that makes them suffer until they see the damage they have caused. I hope this works for you Nonny.

Also: I don’t believe in the threefold law and you will not change my mind about it so please stay out of my inbox

Materials

-yarn, sting, a shoelace, any type of cord will do

-a needle, push pin, thumbtack, a nail, anything pointy will do

-taglock for the person you are cursing

-(optional) a binding sigil

Spell

1) prepare for spell work however you usually do. For me I would light a candle, invoke the elements, and pray to my Gods and Goddesses for their favor and help.

2) take your pointy object and attach the taglock and sigil if you are using one to it. You could just wrap the object in the paper of stab the paper with the object so it stays on it whatever feels best to you.

3) take your cord and wrap it around your object as tightly as you can until it is completely covered. As you do this pour your anger, pain, and negative emotions into the object. As you come close to being finished with the wrapping speak or think with intent the following: As I bind this popit so too will you be bound in misery and pain, anguish and darkness until you see the error in your ways and change.

4) seal the end of the string either by tying it to itself or with wax or however feels right to you.

5) keep the popit in a dark place like the back of a closet, the bottom of a trash can under the bag so it doesn’t get thrown out, you could burry it if you do so in a pot or make a biodegradable object if you plan to leave it in the earth. Once the curse takes affect you can take apart the popit and cleanse any parts you wish to keep and responsibly despose of the rest.

And Who the Fuck Are You? Binding Spell

Don’t touch me, don’t speak to me, don’t even look at me. You no longer exist to me

You will need: 🗝Paper (I used an 8.5x11 sheet of printer paper) 🗝Sharpie 🗝Pencil 🗝Cayenne Pepper 🗝Black Pepper 🗝Salt 🗝Black candle 🗝Black thread/cord 🗝Tape/glue/some way to get paper to seamlessly stick together 🗝Name of the person you’re binding 🗝Any taglocks in addition to their name (optional, but preferable) 🗝Ashes from @tarotketa’s You Mean Nothing to Me Spell (optional but highly recommended)

Take your paper and fold it in half. Sketch an outline of a person on one half and then cut it out, resulting in two identical person-shaped pieces of paper. Mark the inside with an “i” in pencil to help keep things straight

On the outside of one sheet of paper, draw a face with eyes and a mouth. It can be as detailed or as simple as you want to be. As you’re drawing these things, visualize your victims face. Write down their name across the chest of the paper person

With your sharpie, black out the eyes, cover the mouth, and scribble over the name. Remove their sight, block their mouth, and wipe their name out of your life. They’re nameless, blind and dumb, floating through their life sans you

Tape or glue up the sides of the paper, leaving a pocket of space in the middle. Don’t seal the head/neck, as this is where we’re going to insert our fillings. Make sure you get every side sealed, since you don’t want you cursing ingredients spilling out of your newly made paper poppet

On strips of paper, write out any specific binding aspects. A good place to start would be:

You cannot speak of me You cannot speak to me You cannot see me You cannot harm me

Feel free to add on to that in anyway you like! Make as many of these strips as you want

Fill your paper poppet with any other taglocks you have, the cayenne pepper, black pepper, salt, and ashes. As you add everything, focus all your feelings about this person into the poppet, letting them leave yourself and go into this, and by extension into your target. Once you’re finished, give the poppet a little shake to make sure you don’t have any leaks. If you do, just scoop up any ingredients that fell out and put them back in after you’ve patched it up

Seal up the head with glue, tape, or whatever other method you’ve chosen. Fold the arms of the poppet together and start to bind it up with the black thread/cord, visualizing your target being bound in this same way. Drip wax from your candle over the face and bindings (or whatever other areas you feel necessary) 

Dispose of the poppet in a garbage can somewhere far away from your home, and when you throw it away, throw away any attachment you feel for this person

If you ever want to undo this binding, go back to the place you disposed of the poppet and throw away a note simply saying “I UNDO THE BINDING OF [name of person]”

🏮 THE "NEVER AGAIN" BANISHING HEX 🏮

A spell in two parts: a banishment to protect yourself from someone who has hurt you in the past, and a hex to be triggered should they try to breach the boundaries you set up. Created because I have reason to believe that an abuser from my youth has moved to my current city of residence.

THE SET UP

🏮 Perform during the waning phase of the lunar cycle at sunset. A Saturday is preferable.

🏮 You will need: an incense stick (dragon’s blood if possible), salt, black pepper, garlic, thyme, some twine/string/yarn, iron nails, paper and pen, a small offering, water that is preferably from a running source such as a river, bay leaves, nettles.

🏮 You’ll also need a poppet or representation of the wrongdoer you are binding. It can be as simple as a paper cutout with their name on it, or as complex and personal as you’d like.

🏮 As always, adjust and experiment to suit to your own craft, path and situation.

THE SPELL

🏮 Cleanse. Wash your hands thoroughly.  Light the incense. Imagine the smoke creating a protective barrier around yourself.

🏮 Create the poppet or representation of the person you are binding to the hex. Make sure to channel as much of them as you can into this representation, as well as the wrong they’ve done.

🏮 On a separate piece of paper, write a list of your terms. These are the conditions which they must not break, or else the hex will trigger. For example: “They will not look at me.” “They will not speak to me.” “They will not think about me.” “They will not cross me.” Always finish with the final condition: “They will never hurt me again.”

🏮 Take the twine/string and begin reading the conditions of the hex that you wrote aloud whilst tying knots into it. Tie a knot for every condition in order to seal it in as you read it aloud.

🏮 Fold up the list of conditions and tie it to the poppet with the knotted twine. Place the poppet down on a surface and sprinkle a mix of ground up salt, black pepper, garlic and thyme around it in a circle.

🏮 Lay down the iron nails around the poppet so that they “pierce” the circle, points inwards towards the poppet, one for each condition on your list. You can place a charged crystal at the head of each one for additional power if you wish. These are your hexes: you may rub spices or whisper malice into them as you will.

🏮 If it hasn’t already, focus on the binding of the hex until the incense stick goes out, layering up the energy. You may also use this time to focus on cleansing, healing, and moving on from the soon to be banished wrongdoer.

🏮 Lay out the small offering. I would recommend a shotglass of vodka, a egg cup of rice, or a tobacco cigarette. Depending on your path, the preferred offering may be different or an offering may be completely unnecessary.

🏮 Go to sleep. Let your mind be emptied of the one you are binding.

🏮 When the sun rises, the offerings will have served their purpose. Clean them away as appropriate. Then lift the poppet from the circle and dunk it in a jar of the water, followed by each of the nails. Add bay leaves and nettles. If it’s safe, you can detach the list of conditions and burn it instead of dunking it with the poppet.

🏮 Another cleansing of your hands to finish.

Binding Spell

Function: To keep your name out of a certain person’s mouth, as well as keep them physically away from you.

Timing: Being specific can help with the spell being successful. I set the time on mine for exactly one week from the time I performed the spell (Monday at 3AM to next Monday at 3AM) because it fits the parameters that I’m okay with.

Gather:

Poppet

Taglock

Red thread/string

Sigil (I suggest making one that relates to “leave me alone” or, in my case, “Get off my dick.”)

Protection candle

Offerings to deities you call upon (mine were a piece of moonstone to Artemis and a piece of red jasper to Ares)

Candles (I used a white tapered for Artemis and a red one for Ares, as well as a tealight with rosemary sprinkled over it for my protection candle. I also used a small candle that I engraved with a message [ngl, in my case it was “STFU” along with some barbed wire] that will be used later.)

Justice tarot card

Various stones related to protection/Deities (I used amethyst, Labradorite, quartz,  selenite, and obsidian)

A piece of paper and something to write with

Steps:

Preliminary stuff– cast your circle, put up a ward, make/set up your protection candle, call upon your deities and give them your offering while telling them what you plan to do and need help with, light your deities’ candles and the one that was engraved. Now is a good time to set up your crystals to protect you from any negative energies coming about from the binding or your own emotions. Also set up the tarot card so that its overlooking your space where the poppet is being made.

This spell originally had a curse component to it which is why I went so heavy on the protection bits. If you feel comfortable without all the protection steps, they aren’t absolutely necessary. 

Make your poppet and taglock. Take your paper and write the full name of the target you are binding as well as your sigil and either burn it and put the ashes/burnt bits into your poppet, or just fold it up and stick it inside. (if you have something of theirs or their picture, you could put those in as well!)

While binding your poppet strongly,  chant either the words below or speak your own words. (I also stitched across its mouth to stop the spread of rumors)

My chant was: “I call you forth to exact justice on the one who has harmed me through their lies and deceit. I did not see the warnings, so now I call upon (insert Deities’ name(s) here) to receive what is rightfully mine. Keep their eyes from meeting my own, Let my name not pass from their lying mouth, Let their actions speak in place of their words. Keep them away in all forms. In return I offer you this, (insert offerings), and hope on my side you will stay.”

When you’re finished, place the poppet on top of your tarot card and seal the thread/string with candle wax from the engraved candle. Once that is dry, place some of your stones on top of the poppet to protect and strengthen the binding so it is harder to break. I let it sit like that for the rest of the night. 

Ideally, place the poppet (sans crystals if you want) in a dark place where it can sit in seclusion without being disturbed. If you want to carry it with you, the notion of “keep your friends close and your enemies closer” could work well here!

When performing a curse or hex, here's something I found useful:

Perform your actions in the direction facing AWAY from you. Write away from yourself, fold your papers away from yourself, etc. You don't want that energy coming towards you, you want that to be sent to your target, so "push" it away. And afterwards, cleanse you and your space, and any tools you used!! Redo your wards, and be sure to take care of yourself. Releasing that much negativity can take a big toll on you.

Step 5: Let it go.

Your raw vulnerability in admitting your injury has connected you to the higher power you have faith in, be that the Universe or a deity.

Simple Candle Curse

You will need:

Two candles

A needle

Take a candle, preferably black or red. With a needle, write the name of the person you’re cursing. Take that same needle and burn the tip of it in the flame of another candle.

Once the tip is black, imagine the person you are cursing and stab the candle with their name in it. How many times you stab the candle is up to you.

When your candle is sufficiently stabbed, light it and focus on your curse’s intention. For instance, if someone has stolen from you, your intention could be that they would experience an equal theft.

Let the candle fully melt. You don’t want to reuse this one.
