E Y E S H A D O W

Even applying your makeup can be an act of magick. Eyeshadow is one of the easiest ways to incorporate color magick and glamour magick into your daily routine, and requires nothing but your cosmetic products and some intent.

Your stripped down, basic eyeshadow look consists of 3 colors- your base shade, blending shade and crease shade for definition. Each of these can be used to charge a certain intent.

🦋Base Shade🦋

These are usually your light colors and shimmers. Choose a light color that lifts your mood and primes your lid for the other two shades. Apply it to your entire lid up to your brow visualizing being grounded and stable and having a strong foundation throughout the day.

🦋Blending Shade🦋

This is the shade that ties your whole look together. Choose a color that makes you feel peaceful and focused and apply to your mobile lid. Like this shade balances your look, imagine being balanced throughout the day.

🦋Crease Shade🦋

This shade is applied in the crease of your eyelid to deepen your look and is often your darkest shade and the one that attracts attention first. Choose a color that corresponds to your overall dreams and intent for the day and will energize you every time you see it.

✨Eyeliner✨

Eyeliner has been used since the ancient times to ward off the Evil Eye, visualize being protected as you line your lower lid and upper lid and do a cat flick if you wish.

✨Mascara✨

Mascara is your last step in finishing your look, and corresponds with confidence and clear mindedness. It “opens” your eyes, and as you apply it think of your eyes opening to magick all around you.

I’d like to get some opinions on what you guys are interested in, even if I end up not being able to make every spell someone asks for. But i think it would be fun to give it a try!

Protect a room cheat sheet for broke witches

1) place clear quartz chips in each corner of the room, quartz chips retail for 10cents each rather than $3-$4 per whole crystal. They’re just as effective.

2) Rosemary- it’s great for protection and acts as a memory booster as well. It’s very cheap all you have to do is sprinkle it in a sachet and rest it under your pillow for nightmares, or hang it in your doorway as a protection charm. Don’t have any sachets? Use a ziplock bag.

3) use your mind- when I still followed the Wiccan path a fellow sister taught me a visualisation technique to cleanse myself, and my surroundings. All I do is visualise strong misty waterfalls washing everything clean, some people may feel more comfortable visualising a wind storm or fire burning away negativity. Point is spend time perfecting this technique, it’s relaxing, it works and it’s free.

I was in the broom closet for five years, and I can tell you I got very crafty at practicing my craft. Nearly a decade later I still use some of these techniques, because they’re cost effective and they work even if it’s not necessarily pretty.

Just a quick lil tip: Pacifica has a set of facial sprays that include one that’s rose based!! I like to spritz my face in the morning as a nod to Aphrodite to help me feel more confident, as well as remind myself that she’s in my corner. They’d be great to enchant for glamours and you can even carry it around with you!

There’s also the rose witch hazel from Thayers and I totally recommend that too!! It’s a great addition to any skin care routine because it’s alcohol free and smells so good!!

☿️ A Mercury Ritual For Passing A Driving Test ☿️

You Will Need: 

A printout of an unwritten congratulatory e-card, sent to yourself

A black pen

A yellow candle

A lavender, lilac, or lemongrass incense stick (all Mercury fragrances).

☿️ Timing: Wednesday, Mercury’s special time, the week before your driving test.

☿️ The Spell-

Write in the card, CONGRATULATIONS ON PASSING MY DRIVING TEST ON (Date). Put the card in an envelope, addressing the card to yourself.

Light the candle,saying five times. “Mercury, whizzing without rest, bring success to my driving test”.

Light the incense stick and write the card words in incense smoke in the air around the edges of the card.

Blow out the candle, letting the incense burn.

Each day before the test, hold the envelope, light the candle, and repeat the spell words

Blow out the candle.

On the day before the test, do the same but let the candle burn.

On the morning of the test, open the card and read the message out loud.

Take the card to the test. If you’re using your own car, hide the card in the glove compartment.

☆ sigil pockets witch circle ☆

what you need only once:

sealing wax and stamp

candle and spoon

paper, pen, scissors

a coin, if it helps you

instructions:

create each one simple sigil for representing the 5 elements

draw each sigil in coin size on paper and cut them out round

heat up your wax with a spoon and candle and start creating

when all five sigil pockets are done you can start charging!

align your sigil pockets as if you would draw a star like the usual witch circle. now you can charge items or do spellwork with the power of the elements by putting said item into the middle of your circle (yes that’s a pineapple):

you can hide them pretty easily if you’re a closet witch

if someone throws them away, they are easy to replace

use a waterproof pen so they don’t smudge when you charge

Money Jar

Function: To bring money and prosperity into your life through new opportunities to make money, as well as a little luck thrown in for good measure.

Timing: I suggest doing this spell on a wednesday, if possible. Since I’m a sun witch, I will be doing this around noon when the sun is at its strongest for some extra oomph, but feel free to do it whenever you’re able/feel like the time is right. 

Gather:

 A small jar

 A green candle (I used a birthday candle because it was all I had, but use whatever you can find)

If you can’t find a green candle, take a white candle and let it burn for a few minutes until the top layer of wax is melted, then blow it out and sprinkle some herbs related to money and luck. Make sure you’ll be able to pick it up and drip the wax over the jar later.

A god/goddess candle if you’ll be contacting any deities for help

Coins

A few herbs like: poppy seeds, cinnamon, chamomile, cloves, basil, ginger, bay leaf, coffee (Via @hearthwitchmom), nutmeg, or clover

A few crystals related to wealth and prosperity like: agate, aventurine, pyrite, quartz, tiger’s eye

 A piece of paper and something to write with

A sigil (I made one out of the words “money comes to me”)

Preliminary stuff: cast your circle, ward, cleanse the space in order to welcome in new, positive energies, light your candles and contact your deities (if it’s part of your practice)

Put a few coins in the bottom of the jar and cover them with herbs and crystals, should you want to use them in the jar itself. After this, write your sigil on the piece of paper and either burn it and put the ashes in the jar, or tear it up and place the pieces inside it. Then place another coin (or a few) over everything else in the jar. This will help the energies stay focused. 

Seal the jar with wax while chanting: Money comes and money goes; my finances often ebb and flow; through the power of myself and (insert deities here if you call on them) I humbly Ask; that money may come to me from a reasonable task. Luck will find me, this i’m sure; But along with luck is work and more.

Keep your mind open to new possibilities and opportunities, and try to keep your energy up so you won’t be drained by the work you receive.  Be sure to thank any deities or spirits you called upon for help. 

Carry the bottle with you or put it in a place where you can see it regularly. Feel free to chant over it again every few days to keep the energy fresh, but you can skip that if you want. 

Profit. Like, actually.

My outcome was really fast (within a few hours) but it may vary for everyone! Please let me know how it goes if you use it!!
