"the meeting is going to start in 15 minutes." he whispers to you as you both step into the room. the two mom's turn around to greet armin as they hear his voice, but they freeze in place as soon as they see you two.
"oh lord," kenny's mom gasps as he looks at armin's neck. his neck doesn't look bad, really. there's not many stains visible now that he put his suit back on, but they couldn't be mistaken of the few that they could see.
they turn to look at you, visibly annoyed. they look at your hair which is a bit messy, and they also notice how faint your lipstick looks.
"where were you ten minutes ago? we were trying to find you before this meeting so we could talk about... the kids." kenny's mom smiles at armin.
"I was with my beautiful spouse," he says, not even sparing a glance at her. you smile to yourself as you two sit down.
"thank you for coming here today, guardians of the kids." the meeting starts.

arguments with gojo satoru were heated, the constant bickering went on for hours and hours and he could be a real asshole when he wanted to.
the current argument had already been going on for a few hours and you could see no end to it. it all started when gojo got home, he had a hard day and was looking forward to spend the evening with you.
but when he got home, he couldn't see you anywhere. he walked around the house a bit before finding you laying on your couch, sleeping. he was upset, he thought you'd make him dinner.
so when he woke you up, you could smell an argument incoming.

"it's not my fault you're so goddamn lazy, (name)! you never do anything for me, god, it seems like I'm the only one who actually cares." he spits out.
"I care! and I do a lot for you, you just don't-"

you process it for a while before you feel tears threatening to get out of your eyes. and you let them.
this was not your loving boyfriend. the man who you just argued with was so different from your gojo satoru. your gojo satoru understood you, he helped you. your gojo satoru would never yell at you nor blame you for not being able to do the same things other people do.
were you really that hard to deal with? so hard to deal with that he forgot all about your struggles? you didn't like the fact that you struggled, even less when it was with daily situations. your boyfriend had been understanding of you so what changed now?
you walk to your room, taking a piece of paper and a pen and begin writing a letter. if he thought you were hard to deal with, you would make it easier for him and leave.
you set your letter on the kitchen and go back to your room. you take a bag out of the closet, messily putting some of your stuff in it.
gojo comes back home exactly 7 minutes after you left. he calls out your name, hoping you'd answer and maybe come greet him even though you two had argued.
but you don't answer him. he's frustrated but he wants to find you and talk it out.
he walks into your shared bedroom and he feels his chest tighten as he sees the messy state of the room, seeing most of your things gone. he shakes the uneasy feeling off. maybe you were just renovating the room.
but as he searches more of the house, he sees more of your stuff gone. he walks to your bathroom and he sees your towel gone. he rushes to the living room and notices your books being nowhere to be seen. panic is taking over him now. you could have not, you wouldn't leave him, he thinks.
he runs to the kitchen. it looks awfully clean and untouched compared to the other parts of the house. the bouquet of roses he got you a few days ago had a piece of paper next to it.
he quickly takes the paper in his hands, scanning through the writing. he recognizes your handwriting. the ink is mixed on some parts of the paper and he's not stupid, he knows you cried while writing it. he starts reading it.
"dear satoru,
I'm sorry for our argument. I should've noticed how much of a burden I was for you. I'm sorry to have forced you to stay with me."
he panics more. he didn't mean what he said but he knows you're not like him. and god, you never forced him to stay with you. he stayed because he loves you.
the letter continues:
"I never wanted to make you feel like this and I'm sorry to have done it. I've decided to end your suffering of dealing with me. thank you for everything,
with love: (name)"
he doesn't believe himself. how could he have made you feel like this? he doesn't see you as a burden, hell, he thinks he is the burden. you've never actually made him feel that way.
he feels guilt sting his chest. he needs to find you and apologize to you. so he runs back to the door and puts his shoes on.

it's raining but he could see your tear stained face. and you aren't wearing the warmest clothes there is either; just a t-shirt and a pair of sweatpants.
he takes his jacket off and wraps it around you before he kneels down and looks into your teary eyes. he doesn't know where to start.
"(name) I'm sorry, I'm really sorry. I didn't mean any of the things I said. I don't know why I said them but I shouldn't have because I don't actually think the way I said.
I know you try. you're doing so well, I'm really proud of you and I really didn't mean when I said that you're not doing enough. you are doing so much more than enough. you're not hard to deal with, you're the best that's ever happened to me." he rambles.
you look at him and sigh. "I don't know, satoru. you really hurt me. I thought you wanted me to leave-"
"absolutely not, (name), I love you. I don't want you to leave, never."
you're quiet and he extends his arms, asking you to hug him. he's looking at you with a sad smile, trying to show that he really is serious right now.
you're still mad at him but you need comfort too, so you rush into his arms. he wraps his arms tightly around you and rubs comforting circles on your back.
"there." he whispers into your hair. "I love you."

I'm glad there were people around, I don't want to see her naked, absolutely not. you're so much more hotter." he said and you tried to find the humor in his eyes. from anyone else, words like that would've seemed like a joke but he would've never joked about that so you believed him.
"I love you more than anything. I'm really glad you told me about how you feel, I swear I'll do better. I won't talk to the mother's anymore unless it's something super important like a child in danger. and I definitely don't want to fuck any of the mom's."
you smiled at the last sentence but wiped your smile away before he could see. you've already forgiven him, but you definitely haven't forgiven the mothers.

and he smiled. he smiled and he joked around. he wanted to seem strong both mentally and physically. and he was strong, so strong he could protect anyone, he thought.
so why were you laying on the ground with your head on his lap with blood flowing out of your side? why was the ground being painted red with your blood? why was there so much blood, didn't he win the fight with the curse that was attacking you?
he took of the bandage that was over his eyes, placing it on your wound and pressing on it. it didn't help. the blood kept flowing out, staining his hands red.

he wasn't scared of many things, or so he thought. in fact, he told people he was fearless but it was a big lie. he feared many things, his biggest fear being abandonment. he feared that his loved ones would leave him.

but then gojo appeared next to him. megumi quickly wiped his tears and tried to look as usual as he could but his tears didn't stop flowing out of his eyes. his tears blurred his vision.
"they're going to die and leave me, aren't they?" megumi sobbed as gojo told someone to take you to a safe place.
"they'll survive for sure, megumi, they're strong." gojo tried to comfort him. megumi shook his head.
"but what if they won't survive?" megumi cried. he felt helpless, childish even.
gojo wrapped his arms around megumi. he didn't know what to do in this situation, he didn't really believe his own words about you surviving.
so let megumi scream into his chest, he told megumi to just let it all out.

"I'm sorry too. I said some things I shouldn't have, and-" but he cuts you off.
"I know, love. I don't blame you, the argument was my fault, really. besides, I've already forgiven you for the things you said." he says. he tries to sound and look confident but his voice is barely above a whisper.
he suddenly grabs your hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze (you're not sure if it's for you or him). he leads you to the living room, and asks you to sit down on the couch with him.
before he or you can sit down, you pull him closer to you and wrap your arms around his shoulders and neck. he wraps his arms around you too, breathing in your scent.
"I want to kiss ya." he whispers and pulls away from the hug. his arms are now resting on your waist. his accent is slowly getting more visible.
"please." you whisper back.
his hand finds your cheek and he softly caresses it before placing his lips on yours. you mouth is slightly open, making it easy for him to fit his mouth perfectly against yours.
you've kissed him countless times but somehow this one feels different. it reminds you of your first kiss with him. it's almost as if he's trying to pour all of his love in you through your lips.
you suddenly feel warm tears on your cheeks. but they're not your tears, they're his.
you pull away from the kiss and look at him with a worried expression on your face.
he sniffles, rubbing his nose. "are you okay?" you ask and he nods.
"I just... I thought ya left me." he mumbles, his words a bit muffled.
"oh, love, I would never abandon you," you sigh lovingly and pull him in a hug.
"don't ever wanna lose ya," he whispers, his voice breaking a little.
"you won't lose me, atsumu, I'll be here."
"I jus' love ya so much, yer amazing," he sobs. "am so sorry for how I treated ya, so sorry."
"I forgived you already, 'tsumu, you don't have to apologise again." you whisper, rubbing soft circles on his back. "I love you too, so much."
he tries to answer you but his loud sobs are making his voice go quiet. he hugs you tighter, closer to him. he's holding you almost as if it's the last time he'll get to hold you.
"I'm not going to vanish if you let me go, 'tsumu," you say softly and press a kiss on his forehead.
"I jus' wanna hold you." he hiccups.
miya atsumu is not a pretty crier, nor does he know how to deal with his emotions.
but with you he doesn't care if he looks bad when he cries. you let him cry when he needs to. even better, you're there when he needs to cry.
he needs to cry before a match? you'll be there in seconds. he needs to cry after a match? same thing. he needs to cry before his first class in the morning? you're already there. in the middle of a school day? you'll ditch class (with permission) and shield him from unwanted gazes. you'll hold him when he cries.
he hates feeling vulnerable but with you it's not so bad.
you're still rubbing soft circles on his back and whispering reassuring, loving words in his ear.
"I never wanna," he sniffles before continuing; "never want to make ya hurt again. I love you too much, yer always so good to me and I just...
you're my home."
he had decided it a long time ago when he first realised he's in love with you. he took the feeling that makes him the most vulnerable and found a home for that feeling. the home is you; the feeling is love.

I've been trying to find this one haikyuu x reader fic (oneshot) on tumblr where the haikyuu boys and reader get into an argument and they say something like "i could date any girl out there" or something. I remember the fanfic having oikawa and the reader replied to him saying that w something like "take your pick then" and then throwing love letters from his fangirls in front of him, it ends w fluff.
