5 Years of Fart Jokes
Thinking about how I started watching SuperMega in middle school and I am now graduating high school. Time flies when you're enjoying the good company of two let's players. On that note, I think I've become much more pessimistic about their ability to entertain this past year. I think I was yearning for the SM I started watching about 5 years or so ago. Although, things change and I should expect that and I very much did until the big bad year happened. Anyway, I'm so glad I started watching SM. When did you guys start watching them?

Saraya Rees is a 15 year old biracial girl from Coos County, Oregon. After being abruptly instructed to stop taking her antidepressants by a local pediatrician, Saraya went into psychosis. In her manic state, Saraya poured a small amount of gasoline on the floor. Her parents called Coos Health & Wellness in hope that that would send mental health advisors, Coos Health & Wellness sent the police. While still in psychosis, the officers arrested her, questioned her without her family or lawyers present, charged with attempted murder and assault, and sent her to juvenile prison for 11 years.
This is not justice.
This is inhumane.

i think the intention is often genuinely to give kids good advice but the deeply condescending nature of them is almost 100% guaranteed to do more harm than good
what kind of teenager do you think is especially vulnerable to grooming from adults? it’s teenagers who don’t connect to their immediate peer group, and often feel that they are mature for their age and can therefore only relate to adults. that is the kind of teenager who predatory adults seek to groom.
if you tell one of those teenagers, who already feels mature for their age and like they can’t relate to other teenagers, ‘you’re not mature you’re just a dumb idiot baby fetus child who should go do their homework and play pokemon’… do you seriously think they’re going to listen to you??? what the fuck??? in all likelihood they’ll probably just double down on whatever they were doing out of spite.
and secondly, some teenagers are mature compared to their peers, and it’s still not okay for adults to hit on them. these kinds of posts focus on the wrong thing, which is the fact that it’s innately wrong for predatory adults to hit on teens regardless of how ‘mature’ they are. this condescending shit puts them in more danger than if you had literally said nothing.
warning teenagers about predatory adults is extremely important. don’t do it in a way that will make them outright refuse to listen to you.
