I am not dead, folks. Just lying sick in bed, recovering. I guess when work ‘unhanded’ me my body finally gave in.

I hope you can wait a lil longer for new stuff (ff, the arts, etc.) and live with me just commenting on stuff.

I will get to it as soon as I'm fit enough again.

He and Nilla went through hell to have them, but it was worth finally being able to meet Whortleberry Baiser Cookie and Vanillin Crumble Cookie. (both girls)

I also needed something cute right now.

The two pups will gain more markings as they age. Also important to know is that all beasts were cursed with having pups much larger than normal, and also having just one child per litter. The fact that Nilla and Smilk had two was a blessing and a curse at the same time.

Whatever he and Nilla planned, I guess they succeeded?

A little something for the SilentLily fans out there ❤️

Here is a little story information, so that you guys know why I will draw some things as I do in this wolfynized version. Also an appetizer. And don’t complain, you asked for this XDDD

The pups were created during the Recluse time of Vanilla. Both Nilla and Smilk had a knack that something could happen during these times when their beings became one and the same, but not necessarily that it would come to fruition.

Sometime after their battle in the breaking spire and their separation, Smilk learns of his two little problems, as his normally fast healing is stagnating massively. He finds out that he has to choose: The girls (yes, he knows there are two and they are both girls) or his health. He has quite the mental battle (and, away from Candy Apple's and Black Sapphire's prying eyes, also a breakdown) over what he should choose.

In the end, he realizes that having them would mean he wouldn't be alone anymore, so he decides to keep going with this endeavour.

But it has a bad side effect: To keep the girls alive, his health not only stagnates in a tired and wounded state but gets worse and worse by the day.

In the end, it is Candy Apple in her dedication to her master - and the desperation and fear to lose him - who runs off to Crispia and seeks out Vanilla, Gingerbrave and the others and begs under tears to save her master's life as he isn’t willing to let the children go.

The others are shocked but of course, they go on to retrieve the beast. Especially Nilla who has missed his friend…and basically his other half of his being… is eager to do everything in his power to save the jester.

Smilk of course thinks that his loyal servants betrayed him and that Nilla came to steal the pups from him once they are born.

Not a good time to push the beast into an absolute panic attack.

A lot of drama, some brushings with death (but no one dies, just almost), and a slow burn, healing story ensues

And for some extra food for all of you, a story description from Discord of a moment between Vanilla and Smilk ->

So you need to know at one point Nilla moves Smilk to his den, so they can bond more and give the beast a little more room to breathe, as barely anyone dares to enter said den without permission from Nilla.

Nilla tries to spend a good amount of time with Smilk there, but also gladly gives him space during the time he has other duties to attend. It also gives Nilla some room to recover from Smilk’s snappy remarks.

One evening Nilla comes back late. Tired, depressed, and completely taken apart emotionally and mentally after that day. Of course Smilk remarks on that. But Nilla doesn't answer. He just lets himself fall into the nest at some distance from Smilk, who is confused by that. Usually, the first thing Nilla does is strut over and check on Smilk and tries to give him and the belly nuzzles and licks, etc. Smilk tries to tempt the Healer or at the very least make him snap at the jester. But Nilla just… is done, so done. He just once said “Leave it” in a broken voice and nothing more.

Here you have to know that Smilk’s health condition makes it hard for him to get up and walk around so he usually does it only when necessary. Nonetheless, Nilla hears ruffling and then there is a warm wall at his back, followed by another head on his own. The mage can’t believe it and immediately turns to cuddle into the warm blue fur, hiding himself from the world. This is the first time Smilk had sought out physical contact with Nilla on his own accord. And this is also the first night the two spend actively cuddling with each other. There are barely any words spoken. Just gestures, just touches and licks.

And so that you all have something to feast on already, I colored this sketch from discord for you.

I will need to make character sheets for all of them, but especially Smilk will need one, as his design is asymmetrical.

Smilk swears to this day btw, that the two sisters had sibling quarrels already inside of him. XD

At this point in the story, he is still rather thin and not up to health, but he is better than when the others found him and brought him to Crispia
