Had this idea for a while since I have a good selection of freight cars that I feel like would fit in a more farmland aesthetic and I got an A/B set of Alco Ps for the Chicago and North Western Railroad so I figured why not? I also like the name, it kinda just rolls off the tongue nicely

Santa Fe RSD-15 #7550 having some fun with a good sized local freight train. Need to get it a Santa Fe caboose with good couples cause it’s kinda weird that I don’t have one for it. Also I just wanted to point out that yes, these videos I’ve been posting are all on a club owned layout which is why it looks so much better than the video I posted with Philip. My first DCC n scale, say hello to CSX GE 8-40CW #7369! It ran pretty smoothly all night on the old layout minus a couple spots where the rails are not lined up properly. I’m honestly pretty happy with it even though it’s a diesel. I think I’ll name it Calli. More to come eventually

Sadly I don’t have a name for this one just yet but I’m kinda leaning towards Vulkan. Sounds tough enough for a Mountain type engine. Also I have no ideas for the name of the passenger train cause I’m pretty sure that half the ones I can think of might already be taken

one thing they don't tell you about becoming a person who cares about trains is that you start to really notice when a piece of media has a train in it, even (and especially) when the train appears only briefly or has little to no significant role in the story. It's funny, because often this happens with stuff I've seen multiple times, and am only just registering now that it does in fact contain a train
so since May when @greatwesternway and I contracted acute trainrot, the joke has been "oh, there's a train in this!" which one abrupty shouts either before or during the appearance of a train in the media one is consuming.
Which resulted in me sitting bolt upright while showing her Over The Garden Wall for the first time and going, "OH YEAH, THERE'S A TRAIN IN THIS"

I unintentionally have taken this a step further and have started googling trains that I see in movies so I can find out what they are if I don’t know what it is and to see if it’s supposed to be there or if they were like “oh this is this type of engine so it’ll do good for here”. I noticed this when I was watching a movie with my family about those two man eating lions in Africa terrorizing a company trying to build a railway somewhere before the Germans finished theirs. Cool movie on a side note, I’d recommend it unless you’re not into slight gore

He murdered 6 children and was about to kill a 7th.
Okay so I’ve seen this post on my dash a few times now and I knew it bugged me and I just didn’t know why but now after thinking about it I understand
If someone who hadn’t even played Undertale or knew of the characters much, what do you think they would think of Asgore after seeing this post? They would think he’s a heartless child murderer who has an affinity for gardening. Please don’t tell me you think that’s all his personality is like holy shit there is so much more to his character than that and both of you are erasing that by either saying he’s pure and innocent or that he just up and murdered six kids and therefore deserves hate
This is how characters are ruined by Tumblr, summed up in just one post-a character you like is perfect and can do no wrong, a character you don’t has no redeeming qualities and is therefore heartless and evil. You all whine about wanting complex characters but look what you do to them just look

But we had the two knight dudes and Undyne as well who were looking to kill humans for Asgore(since they were part of the royal guard).
Asgore explains it himself. He didn’t want to hurt anyone or want power. He just wanted to give people hope after the humans took everything away again. He missed his son, his adopted child, his wife. Asgore really acts like Frisk is the first time he has had to kill a human himself, he holds back so much and stands still and doesn’t dodge, he kneels when his health is low and submits to you. He will kill himself if you have killed Flowey and spare him.
He has had a kingdom of monsters that will fight humans, plus the royal guard, plus all those bosses, plus an environment full of puzzles, snow, water, and searing heat from magma. Heck, kids get killed doing stupid things in real life, imagine how easily they could get killed underground.
They all had determination, they would have been able to save and reset, but they gave up, they essentially didn’t have the determination that we have to keep playing. They are like everyone who rage quit after dying, couldn’t beat a boss, couldn’t solve a puzzle, or got bored and just closed the game and never finished it. It’s like Flowey says, if we give up playing, we forfeit our control and give up our soul. I guess everyone who just quit the game before getting the end unlocked the nonexistent ending where Asgore gets the 7th soul, absorbs them, and breaks the barrier, and has to face a war with humanity. Too bad no one could ever see that ending, because you have to give up and never come back to get it, so just imagine Toby never bothered to program it into the game because of that XD.
Except Asgore did kill the prior six. Someone had made a Twitter post basically about how the previous six souls “never got to Asgore”, to which Toby corrected ‘past asgore not to asgore’
I have discussed this, they all got to him, and they never got past him. He never says they got to him alive. Asgore gets all the souls and their bodies, they all got brought to him or he found them, we know Asgore got them all as he shows all the souls and has all the coffins in the basement. They didn’t necessarily reach him alive and get killed by him. Toby has a way of phrasing things to be tricky and mysterious but technically correct, as we have seen before. Who can blame him, that dog loves secrets and being ambiguous as possible.
In an early interview during the Kickstarter, Tony said that the previous children were killed by monsters, plural,as in more than one monster, and that one monster, Asgore, was seeking their souls.
And also if you think about it, if all of the kids died from Asgore then none of the items you pick up (the gun, the pan, the ballet shoes, the hats, etc.) would be scattered across the underground. They would all be in Asgore's throne room

,~Part Two~ Wracked with grief over Papyrus’ death, Sans anxiously awaits his killer… Without a word, he unleashes his powers and coldly stands over him, about to deal another blow… Just before he does, Chara antagonizes him. “Papyrus… I KILLED HIM… “ they hiss without batting an eye.. Saying this stirs emotions in Sans… Immediately he calls upon his gaster blasters and shows Chara absolutely no mercy, and no remorse.. He deals blow after blow to Chara.. Beating them near death before looking them in the eyes.. As he powers up his finishing move, a hand suddenly places itself on his shoulder, breaking his concentration.. It was as if he had seen a ghost as papyrus turns him away from his prey.. Sans’ eyes well up as he looks upon his brother’s face.. He thought he lost him… but here he was.. Without warning, Sans throws his arms around his brother and hugs him closer.. Closer than he ever has before.. Thankful to see him alive. But as they perform their tender reunion, Chara seizes the moment as a chance to arm themselves. —————- I may or may not edit this post and split it into two later tonight when I get home.. 8 separate panels are a bit much but there is no clean way to split it up.. Ah well. This took me longer to animate than expected, but the results were well worth it! Thanks to @bryanthebobcat for the idea! Stay tuned for the final installment! I will post the link to part one later tonight as well! I am suppose’d to be getting ready for work… so.. yeah xD

My little brother..
So my seven year old brother loves Undertale. Whenever he wears his winter coat, he puts his hands in his front pockets and giggles while quoting Sans. It’s adorable.
Well, today, I was drawing something to post later when he taps my shoulder. So I look over, and he just lays out these four sheets of paper…

Its Omega Flowey. He drew Omega Flowey’s intro, complete with evil laugh.
So he looked at me, all excited, and said that it was his “Undertale comic” and that I had to put it on “the website” so that people could see it.
If it’s not too much to ask, could you guys maybe leave a like or maybe even a reblog? It would seriously make his entire year if people actually noticed his drawings, he’s always drawing pictures for everyone.
You guys are absolutely amazing. I showed him the response this morning: all your notes, tags, comments, messages…
He was so excited!! He couldn’t believe it (neither could I). He wanted to say thank you (in his sans coat)…
