Woops, another post about this

For ages (years now) I've been struggling real hard to do art again. I have moments here and there where the inspiration strikes me, and sometimes I follow through, but I haven't fully gone back to it yet. And I've certainly been less inclined to post it, for various reasons (i hate you ai i hate you ai, and also having a lot of feelings about my art ough)

Idk, maybe I should just focus back on posting/creating what I want. Try my best to not care about engagement, post to the void and see what happens.

Also probably resolve the things I've been letting sit on my plate for years, so that I'm no longer dragged by them. Hopefully, this time for real.

i almost resubbed to photoshop because I couldn’t recreate the feeling of my favourite brush for the longest time, but i tried importing my stash of photoshop brushes into clip studio again and everything’s good again

Changed my username! I’m going to tidy up my blog finally and I’m slowly getting back into art

Within in the next week or so, I’m going to do a bit of a cleanup on this blog and maybe change my username (as I think it’s time to change to something else).

I’m also trying to work on getting back into the swing of art fully, and art that I can post. I also have quite a list of things to work on and a bunch of people I need to message (I’m very sorry it’s been so long, I have not forgotten it’s been in my brain this entire time).

To be honest I’ve been very burnt out after graduation from a game art course a few years ago, and just in between mental health and unrealistic expectations for myself and... Well... The world events; I’ve been stuck with quite a bit of guilt and doubt for a long time and I want to change that. I’m still scared as fuck to face a few of the issues that stop me from doing art, but I hope it’s not as bad as I think.

Oh man it’s been awhile since I’ve painted her and I had a blast with this! Like last time I painted her was back in 2014, and man looking back I’ve improved quite a bit!

I’ve been feeling just a tad burnt out and bummed, so I did some landscapes of Durotar, Eversong, and Un’goro (minus the dinosaurs) from memory

I also flopped Durotar, just because the sky isn’t even blue there, bc I looked at a ref, straight after doing the painting ;____;

Avivia, Night Elf Feral Druid, 3D sculpt for @nightelftrash​ All handsculpted in ZbrushCore! (and took about ~two evenings or so (?) 

because she’s awesome (and most Adorable), first of all. But she also gifted me Mischief the fel kitty and I Had To Repay Her. And fight her with this. SO I HOPE THAT YOU LIKE THIS! I had a lot of fun with it despite occasional errors, and thank u for letting me steal her for practicing more with 3D sculpting! (I don’t like the arms, next time I’m making them a separate mesh (for some time at least) instead of dicking around with masking and taking at least a couple of minutes to mask them r i p)
