talking about their height difference made me consider…

Woody dangling his arms across Buzz’s shoulders and practically folding his body in half to rest his head against his back, grumbling about his long day while Buzz pats his arm reassuringly

Buzz being a little self-conscious about his short height until he realizes how well his body shape accommodates Woody leaning against him

Woody casually walking by and leaning down for a quick kiss on the head, totally throwing Buzz off whatever he was doing (not in front of others of course… Woody is not a big PDA kinda guy)

Buzz using his stronger bulk and better centre of gravity to sweep Woody into his arms, over his shoulder, or onto his shoulders on a whim; Woody is half-annoyed and half-endeared by this

Woody is taller so he can reach stuff easier, but Buzz is much speedier and more precise in his actions and can often reach the same object just as quickly by pulling off some kinda flashy maneuver. Cue him racing over to grab something for Woody he doesn’t really need help with just to impress him… and okay maybe Woody is kinda impressed

The soon to be, Team Lightyear (1987)

The first episode to be made, and the longest in the first season, airs in 1987, introducing the main cast of characters for the first time. Puppetry was used for Booster and XR, as well as as stop motion animation. Most effects used were practical due to the inability to use green screen because of the ranger suits. A large portion was filmed at the opened nearly 10 years earlier Tomorrowland. Expenses were great and the show was thought to not go past the pilot but it got picked up by a network willing to sponsor it. Overtime it would go on to profit twice its fees.

Andy would see this episode for the first time six years later.
