Thinking of using the 500 GB external HDD i have laying around to backup all the stuff I'm archiving on buckarchives..,,, is this a good idea or is the blog enough do we think..,, i'm realizing just how important of a thing it is to archive coins and art and the goings-down of things here considering how easily and often things become lost media..,, it really does only take a moment for a link to stop working, a key part of a framework to lose support, a website or app to go down or become deprecated, a post to be deleted, and more commonly, for a blog to be terminated..,, and with just that moment so much is lost. I've struggled with this feeling and how overwhelming it is to think about the preservation of history past and current for a very long time, and this is a subject that both is close to my heart and something that strikes me with an insurmountable fear and sadness.., in the end there will be so much gone forever no matter what you do..,, people who say something is there forever once it's out in the world are lying but i wish they were right. I wish they were right. Anywho do we think thats a good idea should i use that HDD

Startingg!! From now on every term/flag/etc i reblog will be saved as a tumblr screenshot (thus saving the coin post in all its original glory + credit and blog name)!! I will also be saving each individual flag. Now if my blog ever gets termed, my archive will survive !!!!!!!!!\(^o^)/
