SxF fic concept:
Loid, knowing that he can’t beat Yor in a straight hand-to-hand fight, decides that he needs to make a contingency plan to neutralize her, just in case it should ever come to that. But for some funny reason, he just can’t bring himself to come up with the plan.
He probably draws up and memorizes a whole flowchart of what to say, based on why they’re fighting and how she responds to what he’s said. Some parts of the flowchart say things like “if not for my sake, then for Anya’s,” while other parts sound suspiciously like wedding vows.
Tbh, the “just ask nicely” plan might be his best bet. Like, what other options are there? Poison? Bullet to the back of her head when she isn’t looking? She’s such a freak of nature, I’m not sure either of those would work.
Not trying to derail the post just to geek out, but we actually know for a fact that poison wouldn’t work.
Spoiler warning for Extra Mission 2 in the manga:
Yor actually drank an entire glass of blowfish poison and completely walked it off. The only effect it had on her was numbing her pain and discomfort from before.
For context, blowfish (and most other pufferfish species) carry a poison that… well, I’ll let National Geographic take this one:
So to reiterate: Yor drank a glass full of poison 1,200 times more deadly than cyanide and it worked like a painkiller for her.
There’s being built different, and then there’s Yor.
Granted, there are things even more poisonous than tetrodotoxin, but we know Loid isn’t exactly going to start feeding Yor ricin or chironex fleckeri or anything like that because he loves her because poisoning Mrs. Forger would impair the mission.

i am not a psychiatrist but i do find it really weird how autism checklists are so often focused on "outward" signs of autism rather than what is going on internally. i don't know how to explain it but "do you make eye contact with other people" feels like a much less relevant question than "how does it feel when you have to make eye contact with other people?"
while i'm here, the other one that always pisses me off is "do you interpret idioms literally, for example 'bull in a china shop'?"
well, no, obviously. i know what "bull in a china shop" means because that is a popular phrase with a clearly defined meaning. and if i hadn't heard it before, then i would still not interpret it literally, because it has the cadence of an idiom and i would probably be able to work out from context what it meant. what is the point of this question
third and final complaint: "are you good at noticing subtext?"
i feel like the problem with this question is best illustrated by a conversation i had with a friend a while back, where i said something like, "i feel very safe with you because you don't do subtle hints and you are always very straight-up with me about what you are thinking and feeling."
and he laid a hand on my shoulder and was like, look dude i'm gonna be straight up here. i am subtle with you constantly and you simply do not notice <3
