Sokka, on the other hand, is an unrepentant night owl. he is up at three in the morning working on a New Idea that distracted him, and he can’t go to bed until it’s finished, obviously

sometimes they don’t see each other awake until lunch, when Zuko’s been awake for hours and Sokka’s barely gotten out of bed

but Zuko loves to kiss his boyfriend’s forehead when he wakes up in the morning, and Sokka loves looking at Zuko’s peaceful sleeping face when he gets into bed late

and don’t even get me started on temperatures

Zuko wants it to be extra warm inside, all the time. he wraps himself in blankets even in the middle of the summer, cocooning up in the duvet

meanwhile, Sokka is melting whenever it’s warm outside. his ideal temperature is like, cool. and he wants it extra cold when he’s sleeping

they gently argue about this all the time

Sokka’s big point is that Zuko can put on more clothes, but he can’t take off his skin once he’s already naked

they eventually compromise that Zuko will wrap himself up in their blankets and bedding when it’s warm outside, and Sokka will spoon him from outside his cocoon
