Been reading since chapter 2 and i’ve been loving it so far!! It’s basically about a cat shifter neil who meets the monsters (minus kevin) before PSU and before Andrew gets placed on medication. I totally recommend it’s mixed with fluff and angst which I love and would love to see other people enjoy it!!

I was a communicate major and for a few classes we had to look through old newspapers for assignments. I just had this whole story come up in my head that one of the vixens or one of the foxes is a communication major. While going through old newspapers for an assignment they find an article about a stolen motorcycle. There is a fuzzy picture including a women and child riding away. The boy on the back kind of looks like a young Neil. So they start doing some serious searching and find a whole stack of articles of missing people (who all look eerily similar to Neil and a woman who could be his mom), street fights and shootings including a women and young boy, footage of cars being hot wired, burglaries, etc…

They bring their findings in a huge pile to a Fox movie night and ask Neil “is this all you”. Neil’s face goes blank for a a couple beats, then he just shrugs without answering any questions.

I’ve never seen a fic like this, but if there is one please tell me!

I am so torn between dying for a TV/Movie adaptation of AFTG, and absolutely not wanting it to ever be made. I love these characters so much and i honestly don’t think i would be happy with any cast. It’s all so perfect in my head and j would be heart broken for it to be shattered

I still think about the fact that according to Nora, the man Neil and Kevin watched the Butcher murder in the East tower when they were kids was an assassin who came to murder Riko. And Riko MADE Kevin and Neil watch to send them a message. Especially Neil (you're dad works for ME and I can make him kill you too).

Then at the end of TKM Neil watches with satisfaction as Riko is murdered by his own brother who Neil manipulated into killing him. In the same east tower.

Also Tetsuji who tried to force Neil to bow was forced to bow his own head while his protégé was killed beside him and his exy career and legacy forever diminished.

Neil didn't just beat these guys at Exy is what I'm saying. Then he goes back to his team with a big grin on his face

When Jean thinks this about Neil RIGHT before the game where this all goes down:

"The smile that curved Nathaniel’s mouth was slow and hungry and hateful. It twitched a bit as Nathaniel tried to force it away, but he finally had to use the side of his hand to smooth it off his face. The look he turned on Jean was almost serene, but Jean still saw the madness in his eyes.”

I mean the layers to this are so good, I'm obsessed with the Neil/Nathaniel dynamic that goes on inside Neil
