A non exhaustive list of similarities between Dean Winchester and Buffy Summers, in no particular order
-They make great puns and unending pop culture references
-They've dugged themselves out of their own graves, and they die on the regular
-They saved the world several times, fought a great variety of monsters along the way, including gods
-They were forced to start hunting/slaying at a criminally young age
-The way they love changes the narrative several times
-They have an absent father whom they're desperate to please
-They're both afraid of behing abandoned, and their fear comes true several times
-They have a substitute father figure who mentors them, guides them, and helps them with research
-When their mother dies, they're unfairly left responsible to take care of their younger sibling even though their father is still in the picture, and though that requires them to make many sacrifices for their sibling, they do love them and would (and do) die for them
-Their younger sibling is taller than them. Like, obviously, visibly taller, and they are more enclined to doing research and learning ancient languages. Their younger sibling also have a particularly supernatural backstory that weighs heavy on the plot and makes them feel like a freak
-They dislike doing research, but are smarter than some characters give them credit for
-They both rely on their great intuition during hunting/slaying
-They feel burdened by their destiny, but take their responsibility very seriously, even if they're both very tempted to stop fighting at one point
-They still like hunting/slaying itself, and helping people
-They're weapons enthusiasts, and they both fire a rocket launcher at some point ( maybe it's not exactly the same weapon, but to me they look similar )
-The necklace they often wear is thematically significant
-Their love corrupts an angel (angel/Angel, get it? get it??)
-The most famous ship from their series is them with a guy perpetually wearing a long, very recognizable coat. That guy switched sides to help them save the world, is a bit of a rebel and a legendary fighter. He is also ready to leave behind his whole identity and be completely transformed just to be by their side
-A very sizeable part of fandom sees them as bisexual, and a lot of the subtext supports that interpretation, but that was never made canon (in the series)
-Although their love life is complicated, they're both extremely attractive and smooth with the opposite sex, and getting a date is never really an issue for them. In fact, they both regularly get hit on
-Their found family is their biggest source of strength
-They both have issues around food that are not adressed explicitally (Dean is always impacted by how he grew up food insecure, and Buffy stops eating when she's sad/overwhelmed/grieving)
-They're both good with kids, and take them seriously when kids tell them about monsters
-Their mom knows how to handle an axe in combat, and is very disappointed their kid has to be hunting/slaying. Their mom also has sex with someone who later tries to kill them
-I love them both so sooo much they're my little cutie patooties <3 <3 <3

LADY GAGA ✝ ABRACADABRA (2025)
I made myself sad thinking about how if anyone in team free will had a one wish willow they would wish to change something about themselves because they think it would make people’s lives around them easier
The serum amplifies everything that is inside, so good becomes great; bad becomes worse. This is why you were chosen. Because a strong man who has known power all his life may lose respect for that power, but a weak man knows the value of strength, and knows compassion. Whatever happens tomorrow, you must promise me one thing. That you will stay who you are, not a perfect soldier, but a good man.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, STEVEN GRANT ROGERS (July 4th, 1918)
It's kinda insane how often I see people think that Mary knowingly sold out Sam to Azazel. Azazel never told her what he was going to take from her! She didn't even know she was going to have two sons!! What are we even doing here.

as you grow older, you unlock new levels of family drama lore and slowly "ye puri family hi pagal hai" isn't just a funny dialogue anymore.
au where in btvs s7/ats s4 - ats s5 willow and fred are in a long distance relationship and nothing else changes
when do buffy and willow stop staring at each other longingly and kiss
I wonder if Golden Pig and Anya Jenkins would be friends and bond over money/capitalism.
I'm also more than capable of handling whatever these adolescents throw at me.
whenever I see people saying "x character would've never kicked buffy out of her house" I get so mad. idk how to break this to you but realistically the scoobies wouldn't kick her out of her house either. that happened because the writers wanted it to happen so they made everyone act out of character. it's the same thing when they hate willow and tara citing that they lived in buffy's house 'rent free'. my dude, the only reason that happened was because they wanted buffy to have financial issues like any young adult. do you not realize that they have to create this situations to tell the stories they want to tell? it's just good ol bad writing.
