reading the comments under this that are like “but outdoor cats kill native birds!!” and all i can think is that’s not the anti-cat argument the people making it clearly think it is… that’s not an inherent problem with cats and their nature, cats are neither moral nor immoral creatures, they are cats, they’re ready access to native bird and small mammal populations is an issue with people feeling too comfortable with either letting their cats roam free or abandoning them in the wild… cats are one of the most perfect and efficient predators on the planet, if you let them outside they are going to kill birds, that doesn’t make them evil, that makes you irresponsible.
