I've had this blog for about a year and almost a half ish, so this is late but here it is

Hi, you can call me Alaska, Allie, or Jett. either is fine. (They/them). I'm 19, a college student.

I'm always happy to make friends, so DMs and asks are open. But for my DMs, MDNI please and thank you because it makes me uncomfortable.

I speak English and moderately good Spanish, and I'm learning Portuguese and Italian as well.

I'm a practicing Kemetic with Christian influence, but all religions are welcome on my blog with open arms, unless you're actively trying to convert me.

New goal: work on this fuckass social anxiety. Because every time I text one of my friends, my brain goes "aaaAAAAAAAAAaaa oh okay hehe... AAAAAAAAAA" or my personal favorite: "you need to stfu NOW or he WILL start hating you" and it's SO DUMB. like bro chill out. This is not serving me. This is antithetical to my goal of self improvement over the summer.

Admitting the breadth of my disability is always fun/s. Like surprise! I'm so active on here because l literally can't go anywhere of my own accord because I'm not only too blind to drive, but also I have tiny little seizures every couple of minutes! And I would walk, but the place I live in is Not Safe™. Like I don't wanna be dependent on people, and that's why I love my college campus so much. When I get back there holy hell I'm going to hit the town running because I actually can within campus bounds. And when people find out the extent of my disability most of them (not all!! But most) want fuckall to do with me. I was also born with a fire under my ass to where I want to go out and venture the world, but I am basically immobile.

I wanna write exorcist fanfic so bad. I have several character ideas, I'm just waiting for The Council (my cousin) to help me decide which to pursue (bc if I do all 3, the Macneil house is gonna be croowwwdedddd)

Vent

I miss my mom a lot. And I hate whoever it is she's become...

The same woman who taught me from a very young age to love everyone regardless of their race, gender, ethnicity, sexuality or any identity is now spewing pro-ICE garbage.

She's homophobic and transphobic now.

She wears her hatred like a badge, when she raised me to be kind and gentle and to understand before I judge.

I understand it's a defense mechanism but it's not okay and I hate her for it. I hate my mother because this is not the woman who raised me.

I was kind because she raised me to be. Now I am kind because I would rather die than be like her.

She hates everything I am, and I'm waiting for the day she starts hating disabled people too. And any scrap of love she has for me will leave.
