Probably my most ambitious group piece yet, just based on pure numbers - likely the only one I'll do for this campaign, oof -- 13 is a lot, folks!!!

found a snake on youtube that legit gets angry and strikes at its owner's laptop whenever markiplier is on the screen

I’m subscribed to that channel. The owner has played multiple other YouTubers to see if the snake just hated Markiplier or was just hostile towards men. Turns out he was fine watching all the other YouTubers he just hated Markiplier specifically 😂

Tofu the snake! the owner has been running several various experiments based on people's thoughts/theories in the comments, like showing an edited image of Mark (it took Tofu a few minutes to recognize him, but once they did they immediately started trying to attack him) and even bringing in other snakes to see if they react too (none did). so far the consensus is that Tofu just really fucking hates Markiplier

"Haha, I'm a procrastinator, I sometimes take several days to do an easy task!" is true but like

I am consistently late to work. Because I am sitting on my bed, picking at my legs or watching videos or just staring at the floor.

I do not want to be late to work. I do not want to be late to doctor's appointments. I do not want to be late to things I volunteered to do for fun. I do not want to leave work two hours late because I was just sat at my desk, staring at my phone, unable to convince myself to get up and leave even though my work day was over. I do not want to be sat in my car, doomscrolling for half an hour as my car loses heat to the literal freezing temperatures, because I'm just incapable of making myself move.

But I am! I am always late to things! I am so incredibly bad at getting to things on time and it's partly executive dysfunction and partly a bad sense of time and partly just. Something deeply wrong with me.

IDK I also register the 'took weeks to do an easy task' thing (I haven't cleaned my room in uh. months?) (my dirty laundry is in multiple piles) but I feel like sometimes the cutesy 'single task' thing gets paraded around and the 'oh god I'm ruining my own life because I can't fucking move' is swept under the rug.

have said this before & will say it again but the way aabria has been talking about the orcs of aramán with such clarity and care is sooooo fucking meaningful and moving. there are a great many aps that talk about empire and oppression but this is different this is so real and so visceral and it is like. good for my heart to see it played out so fucking well. life is so fucking good when you're a person of color and aabria iyengar is on your screen man you don't *get* this shit most places

and because im still not done, plenty of people have done the realisation you don't need to breathe thing before, that's in every story ever with an undead character

but brennan specifically framing it as, you keep trying to catch your breath, and you can't, and you realise you might as well stop trying because you'll never catch your breath again, not only really illustrates the kind of desperate loss that this is, but hits particularly hard on a character who was being strangled when he died

you may not have known it at the time (or maybe you did), but your last breath was standing there with aranessa. it was before they got you on that table. the physical wounds on your body have healed, and maybe they'll even stop hurting, but you will never escape the final moment of your death. that terrifying sensation of no air in your lungs and not being able to do anything about it, you're going to feel it until whatever day occtis tachonis ceases to exist, in any form, on any plane

for all your efforts to not define yourself by what your family did to you, there's one scar that can never go away
