How You Met

S/o met Ruby on the first day of school at Beacon Academy, the male having been interested in her since not only had she managed to skip ahead two whole years and join Beacon early. But she also had a crazy cool looking weapon.

“Woah, that’s a killer looking scythe you got there. Is that custom made?”

He would ask making his way over to Ruby, the young girl having just finished her first encounter with Weiss.

“Yeah! At Signal Academy we all make our own custom weapons. What about yours?”

Hearing how excited the girl got about weapons s/o immediately became even more interested pulling out his [W/N] for her to examine.

Developing Feelings

It wasn’t long into s/o’s first year at Beacon that he realized he’d developed a crush on Ruby. Not only was she an excellent fighter and a good team leader, she was kind, funny, and extremely cute. All things that made s/o fall for her hard.

The Confession

It was the evening of the Beacon Dance; which the huntsman and huntresses in training had all been looking forward too, s/o in particular excited since this was his chance to finally confess his feelings to Ruby.

“Ruby hey… can I talk to you for a second… alone?”

He asks, the younger girl tilting her head in mild confusion before nodding and following s/o to a quiet part of the dance hall.

“What’s up s/o? Why did you wanna talk to me about?”

She sweetly asks causing s/o to blush.

“Ruby I… I really like you and I… I want to ask you to dance with me?”

Ruby’s go wide after hearing this, the girl unsure of what to say before excitedly throwing her arms around him in a hug.

“Yes! Yes I’d love to dance with you s/o!”

Unfortunately their dance was cute short when Ruby noticed someone sneaking around Beacon’s roofs outside of the dance.

Dates

Considering Ruby isn’t the most sociable or romantically smart girl s/o and her don’t have the most complicated of dates. Usually they just go around Vale and hang out.

Alternatively since they’re both weapon freaks they enjoy training together and geeking out over different weapons.

Getting Caught

One night while Ruby was planning on going to hang out with s/o for a date she was blocked by Yang, Blake, and Wiess her sister and teammates having grown suspicious over the amount of time the girl was spending with s/o.

”And where are you off to Ruby?”

Ruby’s older sister Yang says.

”Vale. I’m going to hang out with s/o.”

”Oh is that so? You’ve been spending quite a lot of time with him lately. Is there perhaps something more between you two?”

Seeing no way out of this other than telling the truth Ruby decides to tell the truth.

“Fine, s/o and I are dating!”

She admits in defeat causing the girls to all smirk.

“So little sister got herself a boyfriend. That’s nice.”

Just then s/o arrives to pickup Ruby for their date.

“Hey Rubes everything okay in here-

He says, having entered the room at the worst time possible.

How You Met

After traveling across the Kalos Region and participating in the Pokémon Showcase masterclass Serena decided to travel to Hoenn to become a Pokémon coordinator.

It was after arriving in Slateport City where Serena met s/o, a young man who recently started his journey alongside his partner Pokémon Mudkip.

Developing Feelings

While traveling Hoenn with s/o Serena watched all his gym battles just like she did with Ash, and it was during this time that she found herself becoming increasingly fond of her new friend.

Do I… do I have feelings for s/o? I thought I only had my heart set on Ash, but could I have fallen for s/o. I… I don’t know.

Confession

After a while of crushing on each other s/o finally worked up the courage to confess to Serena while at the Mossdeep City Space Center.

Man I’m so nervous about this, can I really tell her. The most beautiful girl I’ve ever met.

Finally it was time, as the two were sitting together waiting for the launch of the space center’s rocket s/o finally confessed.

“Serena I… I really like you, I think you’re totally beautiful and amazing.”

He confesses, his cheeks burning bright red.

“I… I like you too s/o. I never thought I’d find someone else I love but I do for you.”

She returns s/o’s confession, the two leaning in and sharing a tender kiss together just as the rocket countdown began.

Dates

Since Serena and s/o are constantly traveling together they don’t have time for any real serious dates, so they do smaller things like eating together at restaurants or sharing a bike together. They also occasionally participate in double battles as a couple.

How You Met

Zuzu and s/o met when they were both very young, s/o having been inspired to become a dueltainer by the legendary Yusho Sakaki he started attending You Show Duel School alongside Zuzu and Yuya where he became friends with both.

Developing Feelings

When s/o was around 14 he started noticing that his feelings for Zuzu weren’t what they used to be, he felt his cheeks heat up whenever she smiled at him, how slightly jealous he’d become when she was with Yuya, all in all the telltale signs of a crush.

The Confession After a while of harboring feelings for his longtime friend s/o finally decided to act on his feelings, first asking he and Zuzu’s other childhood friend Yuya for some advice, to which he received encouragement.

“Zuzu I… there’s something I need to tell you… I really like you.”

He would confess making the pinkette’s eyes widen.

”S/o I… I feel the same way. So does that mean we’re-

Before Zuzu can even finish s/o pulls her into a kiss. The girl then promptly hitting him with her fan afterwards for not warning her.

When it comes to dates Zuzu doesn’t mind some PDA. Given how headstrong and confident she is usually, holding hands and kissing is no different. Though if s/o becomes to overly clingy or does something annoying Zuzu won’t hesitate to wack him with her fan.

Dates

Going out with Zuzu usually involves dueling or music. The two of them often dueling well into the afternoon so they can improve their skills. Other times they’ll go to concerts since they both like music.

Getting Caught

Because of how overprotective Zuzu’s father Skip could be the two decided to initially keep their relationship a secret from him. Only Yuya knowing about their confession. That was until…

This story takes place in the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon At the S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy a group of young heroes known as the New Warriors are in the midst of an intense training session being directed by Nick Fury.

”Alright, next up is [H/N] vs Squirrel Girl.”

Seriously? I’m fighting Doreen? This bites.

He thinks to himself, not wanting to fight the heroine due to his feelings for her.

“Start!”

Before [Y/N] even has time to finish Nick Fury starts the battle with Doreen waisting no time in leaping into action.

“Get em Tippy-Toe!”

Doreen shouts as one of her many squirrels leap out from her massive bushy tail and onto [Y/N].

“Ah! What the heck Squirrel Girl?!”

He says while attempting to get the rodent off of his body, however the small animal was too quick for him leaving [Y/N] open for a direct attack from his friend.

“Hi-Yah!”

“Oooffff.”

[Y/N] gasps as he hits the ground after receiving a powerful kick from Doreen. The young heroine smiling proudly as she petted Tippy-Toe.

“Good work buddy!”

She says, feeding the rodent a nut from the stash she kept stored in her tail.

Man that sucked. I won’t let it happen again though.

He gets up to continue the fight but is stopped by Fury announcing the fight is over.

Later after training [Y/N] is approached by Doreen, the heroine having a teasing smile on her face.

”That was pretty funny back there [H/N], what had you so spaced out during our match? You’re usually so focused.”

She asks causing [Y/N] to blush.

“I-it was nothing Squirrel Girl, I was just distracted is all.”

“Hm? And what were you distracted by?”

”N-nothing Doreen, It was nothing.”

He says, though it’s painfully obvious that he isn’t telling the truth.

“Come on [Y/N], you know that you don’t need to lie to me. So come on tell me what’s up.”

Hearing her plea [Y/N] decides to come clean.

“You Doreen. I was distracted by you.”

“Huh me? Why?”

“Because… because I love you and have feelings for you.”

He confesses, looking away in embarrassment. Causing his friend to smile at him.

“I love you too [Y/N].”

Returning the squirrel heroine’s smile [Y/N] happily wraps his arms around her waist and pulls her into a kiss. Doreen sinking into it moments later.

Monika

When it comes to dating a girl as popular as Monika she makes it no secret about her relationship. While not bolstering about it she doesn’t shy away from the usual pda things like kissing his cheek or holding his hand.

Monika’s ideal date is just staying in. She enjoys going out, but sometimes it’s nice to just stay at home and relax while playing her piano and singing for s/o.

Sayori

Basically anything is a good date idea for Sayori as long as she’s with her s/o. She’s so bubbly and cute that socializing isn’t an issue for her, and by proxy s/o.

Sayori loves PDA, cheeks smooches, hand holding, head pats, she likes it all and isn’t embarrassed about it at all. Though she can get a bit pouty if s/o teases her too much.

Her favorite things include: going to the carnival, buying stuffed animals, and doing other cute couple things since she loves her s/o so much.

Natsuki

Given Natsuki’s love for baking and manga her and s/o’s dates usually revolve around one of those two things, sometimes both. Usually this entails baking sweets together in the kitchen and making a massive mess, or cuddling up and reading the latest issues of their favorite mangas.

Natsuki doesn’t do PDA… at least that’s what she tells s/o. In reality Natsuki likes it a lot, though she masks her true feelings by being her usual tsundere self and calling s/o a “baka” among other insults.

Yuri

Yuri’s ideal date is something quiet and very lowkey. Given how shy and reserved the purple haired girl is it’s already hard enough to get her out of the house for a date, so it’s best not to overwhelm her.

Yuri shuts down from even the slightest bit of pda. Even something as simple as hand holding is enough to make her blush up a storm and become nervous. Though she gets better with it as times goes on.

Yuri’s favorite place to go on a date is the local library, not only because she likes reading, but because it’s nice and quiet. Perfect for her.

Ever since she had developed her psychic powers as a young girl Akiza had been an outcast. Even her own parents feared her, and thus sent her off to New Domino City’s Duel Academy. Hoping that they could get her abilities under control.

Unfortunately this didn’t happen, and Akiza only faced more social isolation as her classmates feared her.

But when everyone in the world seemingly turned their back on the young woman there was one person who reached out a hand to her.

“Hey… mind if I sit here?”

A male named s/o asks as he approaches Akiza, the girl currently sitting by herself on the roof of Duel Academy.

”Huh? W-what? No. Go away please.”

She says, though s/o remains undeterred.

”My name’s s/o, what are you doing here sitting by yourself?”

He tells her his name as he takes a seat beside her on the roof. Akiza immediately moving herself away from him.

“I’m Akiza Izinski, now please go away. I want to be alone.”

“Why? You look pretty lonely, I’m sure you could use a friend-

“Don’t you get it! I’m a monster, a freak who makes their duel monsters come to life! You should be afraid of me!”

She shouts.

“I don’t see a monster, and I’m not afraid of you Akiza. In fact I understand how you feel more than anyone else you’ve ever met.

His calm tone makes Akiza freeze, no one’s ever said something like that to her and sounded so genuine before.

“Why… why aren’t you afraid of me? A-and what do you mean you understand me?!”

“Because… I have the same abilities as you.”

He confesses, making the crimson haired girl’s eyes widen.

”Y-you do? No… no that’s not possible. N-no one’s ever had the same ability as me.”

She says in disbelief.

“Yeah, I figured you’d say that… but it’s true. Here.”

Activating his duel disk s/o places his [F/M] (favorite monster) card in one of his monster zones causing the card to appear.

“I-it appeared… but there’s no holograms… that… that means?”

“Yeah. I have the same psychic powers as you, and I know how it feels to be judged, to have everyone be afraid of you because you’re different… but when I saw you… I thought I finally found someone who I could relate to and understand… and maybe help them not be so alone anymore.”

He admits causing Akiza to tear up slightly. The girl throwing her arms around s/o in a sudden and unexpected hug.

From that day on s/o and Akiza became very close friends, both of them finally having someone who they could relate to and understand their pain.

Eventually both of them left Duel Academy and joined the Arcadia Movement, though s/o always had an uneasy feeling about its leader Sayer.

During their time together as members of the Arcadia Movement s/o finally worked up the courage to confess his feelings to his best friend.

“Akiza I… I love you. You were the first person I could truly call a friend after I discovered I had my powers and everyone abandoned me.”

He confesses, earning a sweet smile from the rose duelist.

“I love you too s/o!”

Years later after joining Team 5Ds and helping them in their battles against the Dark Signers and Yliaster s/o and Akiza left New Domino City to study abroad. The two eventually getting married and settling down together.

Before long, Aoi began developing feelings for s/o, and with a little encouragement from her best friend Sakura, decided to confess to him.

“S/o, there’s something I need to tell you. We’ve been friends for a while now and I kinda have…feelings for you.”

He looks at her in surprise and doesn’t respond for a brief moment, causing Aoi’s ponytail to droop in sadness as she thinks he doesn’t feel the same way.

However, to her surprise, s/o finally speaks up and tells her that he does return her feelings.

“Really s/o?! You do?!”

She asks him with a hopeful gleam in her eyes.

“Yeah, I do. How could I not? You’re fun, bubbly, always optimistic, and incredibly beautiful. The only reason I never told you how I felt was that I didn’t want to jeopardize our friendship.”

Aoi’s ponytail springs up in happiness as she pulls s/o into a tight hug.

“I’m so happy right now! I’m gonna be the best girlfriend you’ve ever had s/o!”

S/o smiles and hugs her back, thus marking the beginning of their relationship.

Early on in the relationship, Aoi began to quickly notice something odd about s/o.

While they do a lot of things together like eating donuts, cuddling, watching movies, etc, s/o never goes swimming with her.

In fact, he always seems to get nervous whenever Aoi talks about swimming, so she decided to ask him about it.

To her shock, s/o tells her that he has a fear of being in water, much to his embarrassment.

“S/o, why didn’t you tell me about this earlier.”

He looks at her and sighs.

“You’re the Ultimate Swimming Pro babe, I thought if you knew that I had aquaphobia, you’d break up with me.”

S/o says to her in sadness before being embraced by his girlfriend.

“I would never break up with you over something like that sweetie, I love you. Everyone is afraid of something, and being afraid of water isn’t something I would ever judge you for.”

“Thank you babe, I love you too.”

He and his girlfriend share a brief kiss before he speaks up.

“I’m guessing that you’re probably wondering why is it that I’m afraid of water huh?”

“Uh-huh, but you don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to.”

“No, I’ll tell you. When I was around seven years old, my parents took me to the local swimming pool one day. While they weren’t looking, I decided to swim to the deep end of the pool for fun. As I did so, someone decided to jump off the diving board and landed right on top of me, sending me almost to the very bottom. I couldn’t swim to the top fast enough and began to panic, but luckily a lifeguard came and saved me from drowning. I know that it might sound stupid, but ever since then, I’ve always been terrified of swimming.”

After he finishes, Aoi notices him shaking slightly and does her best to comfort him.

“That doesn’t sound stupid at all sweetheart, I’m so sorry you had to go through that. No wonder you act so weird whenever I go to the pool.”

“I hate having this fear, but I don’t know how to get over it. Even the sight of a swimming pool is enough to get my heart rate up”

Aoi thinks for a minute before getting an idea.

“How about you and I go swimming together? I want to help you s/o, and I promise I won’t push you to do anything you aren’t comfortable doing.”

He is hesitant at first, but ultimately agrees with his girlfriend’s suggestion.

With a lot of time, patience, and taking baby steps, Aoi eventually gets her boyfriend to slowly overcome his fear.

“Ok s/o, do you want to try heading to the deep end now?”

He looks at the deep side of the pool as his body begins to shake a little out of fear and nervousness.

“I….I don’t know if I can. My heart feels like it’s going to burst out of my chest.”

“Calm down s/o, I won’t force you to do this. If you decide to, I’ll gladly hold your hand as you swim over ok?

S/o takes a deep breath and takes his girlfriend’s hand.

“L-let’s do this. J-just don’t let go ok?”

Aoi smiles and kisses his cheek.

“I promise you I won’t.”

S/o begins moving slowly before he gets to the point that his feet no longer touch the bottom of the pool.

“W-where’s the floor?! Aoi I can’t feel the bottom anymore!”

He begins panicking as he grips her hand tighter.

“S/o it’s ok, I’ve got you.”

She tells him gently as he continues onward.

As he gets to the beginning of the deep end, s/o’s nerves get the better of him as he lets go of Aoi’s hand and quickly swims back to the shallow end in full blown panic.

“I can’t do it! I’m sorry babe, I’m sorry!”

He begins to break down as Aoi swiftly swims over to s/o and lovingly embraces him.

“Don’t be sorry s/o, you did really well. We can continue to work on this if you want.”

She rubs his back as he wipes away his tears and looks at her.

“W-what if I can never get over this stupid fear?”

He asks with a shaky voice on the verge of breaking down again.

“Then that’s ok. I love you so much s/o, and seeing you having panic attacks like the one you had a moment ago hurts to watch. If we can’t ever go swimming together, that’s fine with me, we can still do other things. You are the most important thing to me sweetheart, regardless of your fear.”

Aoi responds with a calm and soothing tone like a mother would use to put her child at ease.

S/o finally manages to calm down as he gives his girlfriend a warm and thankful smile.

“You are the most amazing woman in the world Aoi, I hope you know that. I feel like I’m the luckiest guy on the planet to be with someone like you.”

She chuckles and blushes before helping her boyfriend out of the pool.

“That’s incredible sweet of you to say, but I think I’m the lucky one here s/o. Now let’s get dried off and go change so we can head to our favorite shop to get some donuts! My treat sweetheart.”

He smiles as they both grab their set of dry clothes and head to their respective changing rooms.

Despite her boyfriend’s fear of water that may never fully go away, Aoi loves s/o with all her heart, and nothing is gonna change that.

This poor girl has been abused and mistreated basically her whole life, so she was in for a big surprise when she went to Hope’s Peak and met someone who actually treated her with kindness.

“Hello! My name is s/o. Are you new here too?”

“Y-yes I am. M-my name is M-Mikan Tsumiki. I-it’s n-nice to m-meet you.”

The young man is slightly taken aback by her stuttering and timid response, but smiles at her warmly nonetheless.

“Nice to meet you too Mikan. I hope we can become friends.”

“F-friends? With me?”

Mikan mutters to herself and begins shaking a little, much to s/o’s concern.

“H-hey! Are you ok Mikan?!”

“P-please, if you’re going to h-hurt me, just d-do it quickly.”

The girl says in a quiet voice while looking like she’s ready to burst into tears any second now.

“Hurt you? Why would I do that? Calm down Mikan, I have absolutely no intention of hurting you.”

S/o tells her in a voice that makes Mikan relax a little.

“Y-you’re not?”

“No. Why would you think I would?”

She doesn’t answer and just hugs s/o for comfort.

“What has this girl been through to act like this?”

He thinks to himself before comforting the fragile girl, thus kicking off their friendship.

As time passed, s/o and Mikan grew closer and closer, leading to the development of feelings between the two.

Early on in their friendship, Mikan confided in s/o everything she’s been through, much to his shock and horror.

“Oh my God, I am so sorry you had to go through that Mikan!

He wraps his arms around her in a warm embrace, causing her to flinch a bit before relaxing into it.

“I-it’s alright s/o, I deserved to be treated that way.”

S/o breaks their embrace and gives Mikan a slightly stern look, while also being careful not to accidentally scare her.

“No you didn’t. Mikan, no one deserves to be treated the way you were, and as long as I’m around, you will never be treated like that again. I promise.”

“T-thank you s/o.”

Being a man of his word, s/o stayed true to his promise and protected his friend from her bullies (especially Hiyoko).

“Ew! Why is the pig here?!”

Hiyoko exclaims and points at Mikan, who tries stuttering out a response but can’t.

Luckily for her, s/o swoops in and proceeds to defend her.

“I asked her to come here with me. Do you have a problem with that Hiyoko? If not, keep your fat mouth shut and mind your own business.”

Hiyoko quickly runs away wailing as s/o gives Mikan a smile that she absolutely loves.

“God I hate that girl so much. Mahiru should really keep her on a tighter leash.”

“T-thank you for defending me s/o.”

“Of course! I promised you I wouldn’t let people treat you like that anymore didn’t I? I love you Mikan.”

S/o’s eyes widen as he realizes he unintentionally confessed his feelings as Milan’s face turns deep red with a blush.

“Y-you l-love me s/o?”

“Honestly? Yes, I do. Sometime after we became friends, I developed feelings for you that never went away. If you don’t feel the same, we can still be friends like we are now.”

“I d-don’t want to just be friends with you anymore s/o, because I love you too.”

She tells him with a shy smile before giving him a small kiss on the lips, making both of them blush.

As a couple, not much really changed from when they were only friends, except a little more cuddling and saying I love you to each other.

When it comes to giving and receiving attention, Mikan is still a bit reluctant due to her past, which s/o completely understands and respects.

It goes without saying that Mikan is incredibly touch starved despite being so sensitive to physical touch, but when it comes to her boyfriend, she practically turns into a puddle whenever he gives her a hug or some kisses.

(Mikan’s favorite way her boyfriend gives her affection is headpats. She. Loves. Headpats.)

S/o continues to protect and stand up for Mikan, maybe even more now that she is his girlfriend.

Being with s/o has had an immensely positive impact on Mikan as she’s become more assertive and doesn’t stutter like she used to.

“I won’t let you treat me this way anymore Hiyoko, I am tired of you calling me a pig.”

Her newfound self respect catches Hiyoko off guard.

“Y-you didn’t stutter. When did you suddenly grow a spine?! Tired of having your stupid boyfriend stand up for you?”

One thing Mikan absolutely doesn’t tolerate is hearing anyone talk badly of her boyfriend.

“S/o is not stupid! The only stupid one here is you!”

Caught off guard by Mikan yelling at her, Hiyoko runs off with crocodile tears in her eyes.

(If you can’t tell by now, I really do not like Hiyoko.)

Due to her not being overly shy and timid anymore, hardly anyone bullies or mistreats Mikan now, though s/o will still step in to protect her if someone does.

Whenever s/o is sick or needs first aid, his girlfriend the Ultimate Nurse is always ready to take care of him.

“I appreciate you taking care of me babe, I don’t know what I’d do without you.”

His words always make her heart flutter.

“I can say the same thing about you s/o. Now get some rest and I’ll check in on you later. Sweet dreams my beloved.”

Whenever s/o goes to sleep, it isn’t uncommon for him to wake up to find that his girlfriend had snuck into his room and snuggled up next to him in bed.

“This is too adorable. I don’t understand how anyone could be so cruel and horrible to the most precious girl in the whole wide world.”

S/o says to himself quietly as he gazes lovingly at the sleeping form of his girlfriend, who is laying next to him with a content smile on her face.

“It’s a bit early, so I might as well go back to sleep. I love you Mikan, sweet dreams babe.”

He whispers before kissing her gently on the forehead before lying back down beside her.

“Hahhhhhh…I love you too s/o.”

Mikan says in her sleep and unconsciously begins spooning her boyfriend, much to her embarrassment when she wakes up.

Overall, despite the horrible way she’s been treated in the past, Mikan thinks of herself as the happiest and luckiest girl in the world to be in a relationship with her loving and protective boyfriend.

Maki Zenin wasn’t exactly an emotional girl, growing up being treated like dirt by the Zenin Clan she could sometimes come across as cold even towards her friends, though that didn’t stop s/o from developing feelings for her.

“Zenin! I’m so excited to be going on a mission with you!”

He says cheerful as he and the green haired girl as exiting Jujutsu High.

“Don’t use my last name s/o, call me Maki.”

She says sternly, earning a goofy smile from s/o.

“Whatever you say Maki!”

Despite initially being somewhat annoyed about s/o’s overly energetic nature Maki eventually found herself developing feelings for s/o, which after receiving some encouragement from Panda and Inumaki she finally decided to confess to him. In her own tsundere way of course.

“Look s/o, I have something I need to tell you so listen up!”

She says to him as they’re walking through the streets of Tokyo together.

“Hm? What’s up Maki- mmmpphhh”

She then grabs him by the collar of his school uniform and pulls him forward into a kiss. S/o momentarily freezing in shock before melting into it. The two of them being a couple from that day forward.

Maki and s/o love to tease and flirt with each other. They also like being paired on missions together since they fight well as a team.

Following the Shibuya incident where Maki was brutally burned resulting in intense scarring all over her body s/o was initially horrified and worried for his partner, but once she proved to be alive he relaxed.

Despite many protests from s/o to let him help her with fighting the Zenin Clan Maki steadfastly refused, and given his weaker physical prowess to her he couldn’t really fight back.

Once Maki was finished annihilating the entirety of the Zenin Clan she returned to s/o, finally able to see someone she actually loved again after all the fighting and losing her sister.

Despite being from different clans s/o and Arezu ended up developing feelings for each other and ended up getting together in secret.

Obviously because of the longtime conflict between the diamond and pearl clans the two kept their relationship a secret, with not even their closest friends knowing about it. Until…

One day while lounging around Jubilife Village sleepily laying his head Arezu’s lap outside of her hair salon they were spotted by the leader of the Diamond Clan Adaman.

“So, I take it you two are in a relationship?”

The diamond clan leader asks, causing both of them to look down.

“Yeah we… we are. Sorry Adaman, I just… I didn’t want to tell anyone because of the history between our two clans.”

Hearing this Adaman lets out a sigh.

“I see, well if that’s the case I understand why you felt the need to keep your relationship private, but I do hope you’ll understand that I and the rest of the Diamond Clan will be more than willing to accept you.”

Hearing this causes the young couple to smile, with both of them promising to come clean to the rest of their respective clans.

Despite the fear of their clan members reaction to their relationship most of them were kind and understanding, and those who weren’t got put in their places by Irida and Adaman.

Since Arezu specializes in giving people haircuts she obviously gives them to s/o for free. With s/o returning the favor since he works as a clothing designer alongside his partner Pokémon Beautifly.

Kyoka Jiro x male s/o headcanons

Jiro and his s/o met during their first year at U.A., with s/o almost immediately developed feelings for the rocking girl.

Unlike most people in her class who Jiro has something sarcastic to say about, s/o is the exception. He’s not overbearing like Iida or dumb like Kaminari and instead acts like a normal, down-to-earth person. Though she still calls him an idiot whenever he does something stupid.

Not too long after class 1-A moved into the Heights Alliance dormitory, S/O learned that Jiro could play guitar, having always wanted to learn how to play. S/O asked Jiro to teach him.

This love of music ended up bringing them closer, with Jiro eventually ending up developing a crush on s/o.

They both confessed to each other after performing alongside one another during the school festival. With s/o asking Jiro to meet him backstage after they finished up.

“You… you really like me? Even though I’m not as pretty or girly as our classmates?”

”Of course Jiro, I mean did you see yourself back there on stage? You were totally amazing!”

”I… I like you too s/o, getting to teach you how to play guitar has been some of the best moments of my life!”

After this confession Jiro and s/o got together as a couple.

Their nicknames for each other are “Aux-cord” and “rockstar” both names stemming from their love of music.

Since Jiro isn’t really a girly girl her and s/o’s dates are usually a lot more lowkey. Shopping trips to music stores, concerts if an artist they both like is playing nearby, and their favorite jam sessions.

Whenever Jiro gets insecure wether it be over her body or just general anxiety s/o is there to comfort and help her.

“Come on aux-cord I think your music is amazing, why don’t you wanna share it with the rest of our class?”

S/o asks, his head resting in Jiro’s lap as she just finished playing one of her songs for him.

“I… I don’t know s/o, what is everyone judges me? I mean I’m already not like the rest of the girls in our class so-

“Kyoka, you know that they wouldn’t do that. Our classmates are our friends. Plus I think the fact that you’re not like the other girls makes you even cooler!”

He says making the purple haired girl smile as she leaned in to kiss him.

When Jiro lost his left ear during his fight against All For One, S/O stayed by his side the entire time while he was in the hospital. Even after his doctors strongly advised him to rest.

Despite losing her ear and now having a prosthetic in its place, s/o still loves Jiro and has even been supportive of her not wanting to have it fixed by Eri using her quirk.

After graduating and becoming fully fledged pro heroes, S/O and Jiro spent time working as sidekicks for heroes before going independent and opening up their own agency together. With Kaminari setting up shop right next door to them.

Alexis Rhodes x male s/o headcanons

S/o and Alexis met early on during their first year of duel academy, s/o had been defending Jaden Yuki from another student by the name Chazz Princeton. Alexis being intrigued by him since unlike other students in the top dorm he didn’t look down on others.

His deck is Dark Magician/Gaia the Fierce Knight/Black Luster Soldier.

Naturally as an Obelisk Blue student s/o is a very skilled duelist, and he considers Jaden to be one of his rivals alongside Chazz. S/o hasn’t been able to beat Jaden yet however.

“I play Miracle Fusion, and with it I banish my Elemental HEROes Flame Wingman and Sparkman so I can summon my Elemental HERO Shining Flare Wingman!”

Using his powerful fusion monster Jaden destroys s/o’s Black Luster Soldier, dealing him a massive 3000 points of effect damage, winning the Slifer the game.

Alexis and s/o got together following a very close duel between them, with Alexis having been encouraged to confess by her friends Jasmine and Mindy.

”S/o, you’re an amazing duelist, and not only that you’re a great person. I’ve been keeping this to myself for a while since I thought I didn’t want a boyfriend when I first came to this school, but after meeting you I feel completely different now. I have feelings for you s/o.”

She confesses, s/o happily returning her feelings before leaning in to share a tender and heartfelt kiss.

Since Alexis is so popular among the boys at Duel Academy many of them are very jealous of s/o, with Chazz in particular being very jealous because of his massive crush on the Obelisk queen.

S/o’s favorite nicknames for Alexis are “Angel” after her Cyber Angel cards and “Lex” a shortening of her name.

When the society of light took over Duel Academy and Alexis was brainwashed by their leader Sartorious s/o took it upon himself to free her from his control.

“Now by using Thousand Knives with my Dark Magician on the field I can destroy all the monsters you control including your White Knight Dragon!”

With her strongest monster out of the way s/o is able to attack Alexis directly for lethal. Winning him the duel and freeing her from the society’s control.

S/o joined Jaden and the others when they went to the other dimension to rescue Jesse, but he was captured and later used as a sacrifice to create Super Polymerization during Jaden’s duel with Brron. He was revived along with Alexis and the others after Jaden merged with Yubel.

After graduating from Duel Academy s/o and Alexis remained together, with s/o entering the pro scene and Alexis getting a job as a teacher at Duel Academy. The two of them staying together for a long time to come.

Rio x male s/o headcanons

It’s no secret that Rio Kastle is incredibly popular with the boys at Heartland Academy.

Despite this, there’s only one boy that the blue haired girl is interested in, and that’s her close friend s/o, whom she met when they were both first year students.

“You’re new here too huh? My name’s s/o, what’s yours?”

He introduces himself and greets her with a friendly smile, which she returns.

“I’m Rio. Nice to meet you s/o.”

After their initial meeting, it didn’t take long for s/o and Rio to become friends, especially since he was one of the select few male students who wasn’t constantly fawning over her, much to her appreciation.

Being friends with Rio means it was inevitable for s/o to meet her brother Shark, who at first didn’t like the idea of his little sister hanging out with some boy, but after seeing how much the two care about each other, he eventually grew to like and accept s/o.

“You’re an ok guy s/o, but if you try anything funny with my sister I’ll make you regret it. Got that?”

“She’s my best friend Shark, I’d never do anything to hurt her. I promise you that.”

Hearing the seriousness in his words, the male water duelist cracks a smile.

“Good, because I’d hate for Rio to lose the only person willing to put up with her.”

The two chuckle at this and soon enough become friends as well.

As time passes, it becomes clear that Rio and s/o have started to see each other as more than friends, but before either could confess their feelings, tragedy strikes.

Rio is rushed to the hospital after a duel related accident, much to the horror of both Shark and s/o.

Tears fall from s/o’s eyes as he stares at his friend/crush, who is currently unconscious and lying in a hospital bed.

“Rio, I swear Shark and I will make whoever did this to you pay! Just please, don’t leave me.”

When the time finally comes that Rio awakens from her coma and is cleared to leave the hospital, she is quickly greeted by a relieved and emotional s/o.

“Shark told me the news! Rio, I’m so glad you’re ok!”

He proceeds to pull her into a tight embrace, causing the younger Kastle sibling to blush before she hugs back.

“Thank you s/o, I’m happy to be up and about too, especially because it means I can see you again. There’s something I wanted to tell you, but didn’t get the chance to. I don’t want to wait any longer, so here it is. S/o, I….I really like you.”

Knowing what she means, he looks at her with a big smile.

“I feel the same way Rio. So, are we like…a couple n-”

She cuts him off by pulling him into a kiss, thus marking the beginning of them indeed being a couple.

Despite dating each other, not much really changed between Rio and s/o due to how close they already were besides being more affectionate with each other.

Jealousy is pretty much exclusive to s/o, but only to the extent of him getting annoyed at how his male peers continually simp over his girlfriend.

“Ugh, they know we’re together, so why are they still drooling over you babe?”

“What can I say s/o? That’s the kind of thing guys like you have to deal with when their girlfriend is so pretty.”

She says with a giggle as s/o sighs.

“I guess, but just so you know Rio, pretty is an understatement. You’re absolutely gorgeous.”

This causes his girlfriend to smile and blush as the two leave school to go on a date.

Speaking of dates, they pretty much consist of the usual things young couples do like going to the movies, the carnival, etc.

However, since Rio and s/o are both duelists, their favorite way of spending time together is having a nice friendly duel, which usually ends up with Rio winning.

“I beat you again s/o. Better luck next time.”

She gloats as her boyfriend pouts.

“Hey! I’m getting better, so next time will be different!”

“Whatever you say babe.”

Being the superior duelist, Rio absolutely gives her boyfriend pointers and tutors him on how to better his dueling skills, which is something the two of them enjoy quite a lot.

“Thanks so much for mentioning me Rio. Honestly, I don’t know what I’d do without you.”

He tells his girlfriend as she smiles and wraps her arms around him.

“Hopefully you never have to find out. You’d be so lost without me.”

She says to him teasingly, both unaware of what’s soon to come.

Once Rio and Shark discover that they’re actually Barians and decide to join them, s/o is utterly heartbroken.

“N-no….why Rio? Why?”

Not long afterwards, s/o confronts Rio, who is one of the Seven Barian Emperors and now goes by Marin.

“R-Rio?! Why are you and Shark doing this?!”

He exclaims while looking at his girlfriend in her Barian form.

“I am no longer Rio. My name is Marin, and my brother is Nash. The girl you knew is gone s/o, but if you insist on challenging the Barians, then prepare to duel!

She tells him sternly, breaking s/o’s heart even more before he gains a look of determination and readies his duel disk.

“Fine then, but if I win….I want the old you back!”

Unfortunately, s/o stood no chance against Marin’s Chaos Number and is easily defeated, causing him to drop to his knees.

“I lost. Rio…I’m sorry.”

Before he is sent to Barian World, Marin transforms back into her human form and stares at him sadly.

“I love you s/o.”

She leans down and kisses him before he disappears, tears rolling down her cheeks once he does.

Once Astral uses the Numeron Code to bring everyone back, including the former Barian Emperors who are now human again, Rio and s/o continue their relationship as normal.

“After everything we’ve been through, I’m still glad to have you as my girlfriend. I love you Rio.”

“And I wouldn’t want anyone else as my boyfriend but you s/o, I love you too.”

The two look at each other lovingly and share a passionate kiss, both knowing they’ll always be together from that point forward.

Ochaco Uraraka x male s/o

S/o is a childhood friend of Uraraka who’s known her since they were little kids, both of them being inspired to be pro heroes when they grew up.

They confessed their feelings to each other after getting their provisional hero licenses, Uraraka being the one to initiate it after receiving encouragement from Deku and Tsu.

“So what’s up Chaco? What did you need to talk to me about?”

He asks, tepidly standing outside of the class 1-A dorm building.

“R-right, well… there’s something I’ve been meaning to say to you for a while, I just was too nervous to say it, but after everything we’ve been through at U.A. the last few months and especially with us passing the provisional license exam I finally feel confident enough to say this.”

She says, a nervous blush on her round cheeks.

“I… I really like you s/o, I have for a long time.”

Hearing her confession s/o is initially shocked before his face quickly changes to a smile.

“I like you too Ochaco. You’ve been my best friend for almost my whole life, and you have always been there for me. In fact, I’d go as far as to say that I don’t just like you. I love you!”

From that moment on the two were together.

S/o and Ochaco’s dates are usually quite small, given she doesn’t have much money they commonly just end up cuddling together in one of their dorms watching a movie together. Though sometimes s/o will surprise her and treat his girlfriend to some mochi.

Their nicknames for each other include the usual things like babe and baby, but unique to them are specific names like “Sweet Cheeks” for Ochaco or “Sugar Cookie” for s/o.

Ochaco’s friends are very supportive of her and s/o’s relationship. Though Mina and Toru can be a bit nosy with the former also liking to tease her friend quite often. Luckily Ochaco is able to get her back by teasing the pink haired girl about her relationship with Kirishima.

When she and s/o cuddle and or sleep together Uraraka has to wear mittens. These are to prevent her from accidentally touching things in her sleep and making them float with her quirk. This having happened to s/o the first time he slept over at Ochaco’s house when they were young.

”Mmmm, you’re so warm sugar cookie.”

Ochaco sleepily mumbles as she snuggles into s/o’s side. The two of them having just finished yet another movie date night together.

“Heh, and you’re so adorable sweet cheeks.”

He teases before securely putting his arm around her shoulder. Grabbing the remote to his tv and turning it off. Allowing s/o to drift off to sleep with his sweet floaty girlfriend in his arms.
