What can I say? Gwen has been bubbling up for a hot minute, having worked with Schoolboy Q, Sean Paul, Faith Evans and others..a writer, arranger and producer, this joint is infectious..with two DOPE albums under her belt, PHASE and SAFE TRAVELS..best not sleep on this Decatur artist anymore.

WHOA.  Joey Bada$$ covers one of the modern day soul classics from Mos Def..UMI SAYS. When I first heard Joey would be covering this...I had high hopes, especially since Mos’ version is a bonafide CLASSIC.  Needles to say Joey and the Band MURDER this..Sonically, it’s right there in the pocket and Joey adds his own flavor to it. Ear Candy..hats off to Joey and the Band..they did RIGHT by Mos.

South London’t own Jaz Karis...this track is smooth and silky and such a VIBE. Jaz straddles that Soul/R&B line effortlessly..her album SIDE OF YOU promises more of the same..looking forward to hearing more from her in 2023..
