These aren't the best pictures I have ever taken, but there is a fond memory attached to them. Here's what I wrote when I shared these on Instagram:
"The day before taking these pictures, I had noticed two birds flitting between the trees while sitting on the cliff of Parkinson Forest's waterfall. I couldn't see them well enough to ID them (plus they were not making any noises that I could have used to ID them). Noting that the birds sometimes returned to a spot under the cliff (presumably a nest), I decided to return the next day with my camera. I had waited about 30 minutes and was about to give up when the birds began flitting between the trees again. With these pictures, I was able to identify the nesting birds as Eastern Phoebes!"
