I feel like these few panels sum up their relationship pretty well: Chobei will go as far as to sacrifice himself and his well-being if it meant that his little brother would be safe. But Chobei is everything to Toma. Toma wants to be equal to his older brother because he wants to protect him too. Their love for each other is absolute and goes beyond everything.
