We all went into Dares with gold armor except Cellestial. Just kidding.

How it actually went was, Cellestial was all gold first and by the time everyone else joined in, he had gone back to his normal outfit.

Here’s Oz not participating properly. He was probably distracted by a strange sticky substance or preforming tests on taken puddles.

I could see him slapping a taken out of the way before I finished it and that’s where that one assist came from.

Not sure if I told this story before, but this was when I picked out three chests for people in the fireteam at the end of Last Wish. And they all got the exotic from the chests I picked. Me standing on an unopened chest, “Oz this is yours.” Oz loots it and starts laughing because he got his first raid exotic. “I got it.” I go to stand on another chest, “Joker this is yours.” Then Joker gets it too and I took the screenshot.

I don’t remember who the third one was that got it when I pointed out a chest. But it was three of them. Everyone was baffled but also happy, including myself. It was nice to share the luck though.

Here’s two pictures of the fireteam and I. (Oz casually snagging his robe on the door as he enters in the first image.) We have some decent memories from our last adventure. A lot of laughs and a lot of plundering. All in all, not too bad.

Between jumping ships to plunder loot from Eramis’ crews like a proper pirate, messing around in Festival of the Lost, and donating money to the Eliksni Quarter for repair, I was also helping three new Guardians stay alive.

Never saw myself as a teacher, but the more Guardians the better. And Cygnus agrees.

This is a more recent run of Prophecy I did with two of the newer Guardians. They’re already doing so much better. Gathering weapons and armor, exploring, making builds, less dying... all the good stuff.

This is an image I took on one of the asteroids after a plunder mission while I was waiting for my ship. There was a lot of green in the background, so I took out a Gambit token and had Cygnus take this picture.

Also, Hunter arc got a whole lot more fun and I love it. It’s one of my top favorites again. That Gathering Storm super... wow! Which, by the way, comes with some interesting stories when it comes to me using it.

Now that Festival of the Lost is over and Dawning is around the corner, here’s the only two images I took and saved from Festival of the Lost this year.

Oh, I also met three new Guardians who apparently all woke up as New Lights in the same area of the Comsodrome close to the same times. That place really is spawning a lot of new Guardians these days, wow.

I adopted all three of them because they need help from someone other than Shaw Han. Anyway, one of them is in this first picture here nicknamed “thegalachan”. Another of them has the nickname “ScienceDevice”. He’s pretty funny. I’ll never forget one of his first comments. He looked at me then look at himself, noting the armor we were both wearing. Then he said, “Why do I look like a trash can?” I laughed so hard. Then I showed him to Ada and told him how to make some better looking gear. Ah, fun times.

The third of the three new Guardians I met is nicknamed “thirdeditman” which is kinda funny. He’s quiet but also a Hunter. Once he tries out Void, I’m sure he’ll love sneaking around.

This is their first run through Prophecy and they didn’t do that bad for having a lot of blue gear. Also it was their first dungeon in general.

I ran Pit of Heresy with ScienceDevice later and the damage counter broke. We were using Telesto though. And considering recent events, I guess this makes sense.

It’s amazing what actual matchmaking can do. Shax isn’t cutting corners anymore. I’ve had the most fair matches in my entire Guardian life the last couple months. Now I can see what I’m doing wrong, instead of just knowing I died and not knowing why.

I’m working on something

And by “I’m” I mean, Pyro. And by working on something, I mean....

...procrastinating while trying to figure out what else I can include on the blog here.

Anyway, I've joked around with my fireteam and clan for a few months about recording videos and uploading on YouTube funny things that happen.

Until it turned into a thing I actually thought might be fun and I started doing a few. They aren’t great. I have no idea what I’m doing. But hey, if you guys want to see me, Bravo, Oz, and the clan messing around, here’s my recent video.

Around five months ago, the Leviathan came back to loom menacingly behind our moon. (I still think it’s going to consume it.)

And me and my clan were just chilling in the H.E.L.M. waiting for our impending doom. Just kidding.

No, we all went out and burned any force that stood in our way (as usual). All our solar “firepower” got turned up, except mine. I swear this Golden Gun did more damage two years ago when I was first resurrected.

But I still had void, right? So I just, used that while everyone else was burning new fungus off the Leviathan.

Anyway, salt aside not a lot happened really. I didn’t take many pictures. Nor did I feel the need to go out on missions every other day.

This guy though ... Crow. He’s ... learning but still needs time before he’s ready for much responsibility. I sure hope someone else takes the Hunter Vanguard title first. Even though there wasn’t much happening overall, the things that did happen were good. There was a whole bunch of reconciliation. And let me tell you, that’s priceless. I mean, I didn’t know Zavala at all until now. I may have read up on some past history but that’s not the same as actually being there, you know?

Oh and Telesto broke the Tower and Rahool got possessed. So that was fun too.

I was . . . so frustrated with the shanks, that I embraced death.

That’s a lot of laurels.

That Titan in the center looked like a skeleton, so Oz and I took a picture. We were both kind of impressed even though we’d never wear this.

Confetti guns! I regret not getting this emote.

Guardian Games came around yet again. And guess who had the lead most of the time and eventually took the victory?

That’s right, Warlocks.

Everyone saw it coming. It was destined to be.

I really loved the armor from the event this year. Event armor has had a LOT of improvement. Whoever’s designing these, you did amazing. Please make more.

This was an accidental picture. Cygnus (my Ghost) revived me in a hurry during a Crucible match and accidentally took an image as well, somehow. But it looked great so he showed me later and asked why I don’t go by “phoenix”.

I didn’t have a good answer, really. I just told him I have my reasons. I liked the picture though, so I kept it.
