“First of all, still not quite old enough to drink.” Not that it’s ever stopped him before. There was always some older guy foolish enough to buy a drink if flirted with.  “Second...alcohol...plus you and me alone...”

“Sorry. I was teasing. But still, it would have been nice to hear something, even if it was late. We’re superheroes. I get having to leave with no warning. I just didn’t have any idea what happened. It would have been nice to know you were okay.”

He looked up and smiled. “Welcome back, Miguel. I missed you.”

“I know. I know. It’s my screw up...but I don’t want you to think my leaving was something you did. Not to sound cliche but it actually was all me. Because you’re a just a hell of a great dude. I’m in a better place but the sacrifices made...I’m still trying to figure out if it’s worth it or not.”

“First of all, I didn’t run out on you. I wrote out a text...just forgot to hit send.  Kinda realized that when I didn’t get a response and I figured it was too late to actually send it. “ He folded his arms in a defensive manner. “Second of all...I was going through a lot? I think I kind of jumped too fast into our relationship...that and I had to leave the Titans. I didn’t have time to put up with Batman’s douchey spawn.” He said referring to the newest Robin.
