HOT TAKE ON WHY SOME PEOPLE HATED THE TADC FINALE (as someone who liked it)

I think a lot of the people who hated it just kinda forgot/didn’t pick up what type of narrative they were watching. Because most of it reads like people getting confused why the character focused story didn’t end with a focus on mysteries only YouTube theorists cared about. Don’t get me wrong, I have seen some valid critiques that do keep that in mind. I.e. it focused too much in one specific character, feeling rushed. But honestly most the people who dislike it just read like they found the series through some “deep lore” theory and just never clocked they got the wrong impression of the show

Ok so here’s the deal I really hate when people go out of their way to spoil stuff for other people, but I also really want to talk about the tadc finale so I am going to give a spoiler free review about the final episode and then I’m not gonna talk about it or post fanart until it comes out on yt. If you want to go into it completely blind tho just ignore this post

Tadc finale:

Ok so going in I heard from people who watched the leaks that the finale was really bad but honestly I loved it!! I rate it a solid 9/10. A lot of it was pretty predictable but I don’t view predictability as the end all be all in storytelling. I thought the character beats were super good. It wrapped everything up in a really sweet way. And I just had a really good time. It wasn’t perfect, one scene near the beginning made a super bizarre writing choice that was super confusing, and if you don’t like Tadc’s writing style you’ll probably hate this episode, but if you do like it then you’ll probably love it!

I’m not gonna reblog or post anything spoilery until after the YouTube release to respect those who can’t see it in theaters, but I just wanna say I was bawling my eyes out for most of that finale and I think it ended the best way it possibly could’ve considering the dire circumstances. Bravo I’m genuinely so happy with the ending

As always, I always love doing clothing folds and creases, so I like the sleeves the most. On top of that, I actually like how the hands turned out for once, \*and\* how the head looks

However If I edit the shadows on this any more, I may drive myself mad. I've decided that its good enough, because perfect is the enemy of good.

Next piece, i'll be doing Ghondor, but I'll be taking a little bit of a break after doing so many in a row. :)

I just came back from watching The Amazing Digital Circus Movie and I have to say, I don't understand why people were dissing the ending.

No spoliers of course, but I thought it was amazing and all the people who saw it before me said the same thing. I was really satisfied with the way it ended and I now understand why Gooseworx didn't want to make another season.

Respect and love to all the people who worked on it, voiced for it, and put so much love into it ❤️!

Simon has his days where his fears and temper gets the better of him, especially regarding the mutation and how he doesn't have control of his own body. He tried to remove all the teeth from his face, but they keep growing back.

Grace does his best to help Simon cope with the changes. Eventually, Simon accepts the teeth are a part of him now. He doesn't like it, but he learns to live with it. On top of growing tired of fighting the mutation, he doesn't want to worry Ryland or put even more burden on him with his problems.

Meanwhile, Grace is relieved Simon isn't hurting himself anymore. Also he thinks the teeth are neat. Weird, but NEAT.

Jonathan Joss was an Indigenous, gay man who was murdered on the first day of Pride month as well as Indigenous History Month. He died protecting his trans husband. Homophobia and racism aren’t marks of the past, and this is a heart breaking reminder of that.
