Okay so it’s autumn and all that comes with it

I’ve decided to remake my blog. I might go through and delete/unlike old posts, and there is a chanse I’ll stop following unactive friends that no longer use tumblr. I’ll follow new people, update, and do whatever may come. <3

I just want a fresh start. <3

It’s all fun and games until...

The top flap on the big box came down and Simon felt the need to run for his life.  River saw Simon bolt and looked like she was thinking, “What did I miss?“ 

After I fixed the box flap, Simon decided that the whole set-up required a safety inspection.  It took him a few minutes to army crawl up to the boxes before deeming them fit to play in again. 

River, completely unphased by the box flap drama, immediately hopped up onto the small box to survey her kingdom.  Simon, ever the cautious one, kept circling the boxes to be sure that they didn’t eat his sister.

Yesterday I spent my whole day learning bunny and it was awesome.

Okay not the whole day but, a good part of it? And I just love bunnies even more now, it’s ridiculous. <3

They go through the basic in a really good way. It’s a lot about context, and plenty of respect. But there is lots of reassuring bits in there too. I worried that Vanilj gave me a “bunny butt” (when they say you have offended them by giving them their backs), but since she practically pressed herself against me meant that she just wanted back scratches!

Well, let’s just say our grooming habits got even better now, and I’m really happy for it. If you have a bunny, give it a read! And whoever visits me and Vanilj; i’m not crazy, I just speak bunny.

I was thrilled to pieces when I saw this scene. Disney could have written Gideon off like some bully character who never really amounted to anything, or got what was coming to him like a lot of those characters do in their movies.  Gideon made something of himself. He’s a pastry chef, something that’s not traditionally a job for men in media. And as soon as Judy speaks to him, he immediately apologizes to her. He doesn’t try to shrug it off as no big deal, or say that it was just boys being boys or whatever; he knows he hurt her, and he owns up to it. And Judy immediately forgives him. 

Well done, Disney.

Also, something I noticed. When she says his name, he tenses up. He’s been rehearsing what he would say if he ever met her again, and he knows what he wants to say, but it is still really difficult for him to admit HOW bad he used to be.
