Concept art from 2024 I never posted.

I don't know if I'll ever get around to making this guy, but his name is Chester. I originally came up with the concept before I started working on the new EYHV game Heart candy. Maybe i'll circle back around to him, i'm not sure.

The original concept for this was a Visual novel following April, a young woman who's trapped in an abusive marriage that takes place in the 70's. The local librarian is a kind guy who's a bit of an oddball that frequents her diner every day. Chester has liked April since they were children, but had to move and live with his Uncle in France after the untimely death of his mother. By the time he could come back to his small hometown, April has been married off. As the game unfolds, Chester is supposed to turn into a murderer, and even a monster thanks to a strange book donated by a local elderly woman.

I had endings planned where depending on the players feelings about Chester, they could either reject him and he would sacrifice himself to give her the power he had so that she would never be subjected to abuse again- Or they could accept him and run off together to live happily far from the corpses of those who hurt her.
