Reblog this if you have over 50 dragons on fr.
Some monster-y dragons I made for friends on a flight-rising server.
Hey so I’m looking for a lore baby
If any of your lore dragons have recently had hatchlings, throw them at me I need to buy a main character for my next lore arc, preferably one that either comes with or inspires within a spark of inspiration for a lore arc without being too angsty because I’m saving all my angst for the finale arc.
I’ve got Aleyi (vampiric wraith demi-god) on page six, and Kilche, Jeftas, Australis, and Faolin on page seven. ouo
I have a bunch of lore babies at my Hatchery!
…gene experiment
Reblog with your flight and whether or not you like Crackle.
(fun bonus: reblog with any favorite crackle dragon(s) of yours)

I’ve updated the guide for this year! Took some time, I ran through up to Volcanic Vents before I went to sleep, woke up today and finished.
Some things have changed from last year, some have not, and no venue has more than two types of food or item drops.
The higher levels and the newer venues are the ones with the newish combos, mostly, hence the larger variety down there. There tends to be three types of NOTN enemies up top, but, they don’t drop more than the max four types.
I still side with my conclusion that the Scorched Forest is the best place to grind. The higher levels are simply tedious. And long.
Edit;;
The training fields and the rng conspired and lied to me, the clocks dooooo drop the Grimoire, after all, and the training fields has four possible drops. All I could get last night was orbs, so, I mean. Whoops?
Looking for new people to follow!
Do you draw art? Write lore? Are you just amazing and post almost exclusively Flight Rising related content?
Then please reblog this so I can check you out! Please also consider giving a follow back as I intend to try and get back on my bullshit (lore) for the new year. <3 Boosts are also appreciated, thank you! ;u;

Special custom Moneypit Accent: 1 copy of this accent by Trillium**
Moneypit Starter Kit***: 1 scattersight, 1 scatterscroll, 1 fire egg

Extra Entries:
You can earn extra entries in to the above giveaway through the following ways (included on your initial reblog please):
Include a guess for colors that he will scatter in to. For each correct guess (color and placement) you will get an extra entry. For example, if you guess one scatter will be carrot/ultramarine/grapefruit and he scatters in to grapefruit/ultramarine/carrot you would get one extra entry. This extra entry will only be available if you reblog this PRIOR to 10/22/2018. Once I begin to scatter I will no longer be counting guesses as extra entries.
Art. ANY art of Moneypit (or trash cans named Moneypit) will get one extra entry. It doesn’t have to be good art.
Prizes for the giveaway will be announced and distributed by 10/28/2018 (accent to be distributed later). I have 16 month old twins and it’s hard to get stuff done timely, though, so please be patient with me.

On the Crescendo
I always had trouble imagining the clans of the Twisting Crescendo. Specifically, how and why did they fling an entire lair into the sky and how and why do they keep it there. I think about this stuff a lot, so here’s my answer.
The goal is to get close to Windsinger, of course.
The windswept plateau is rather far south, and probably has very cold winters. This means that the Twisting Crescendo likely grows and shrinks with the seasons. In the winter, it’s very small, spinning out over the strait and not bothering anyone. Conversely, in the summer, it grows to cover all of the plateau accept for Reedcleft and the steppes.
The lairs that are labeled as in the Crescendo are actually in central and southern Windswept. Their lairs are completely above ground and made of lightweight bamboo. Their only anchoring to the ground is with strong tethers likely cured with magic.
In the winter, these lairs rest on the ground and act much like conventional cities. Come summer time, the storm grows to cover the lair and lifts it into the air to be more or less gently deposited back on the ground when autumn arrives.
As time passes, a clan will extend the tethers binding them to the ground, meaning that each summer they get a little higher. Eventually, with enough expansions, they rise high enough to breech the top of the storm and into the cloudsong at which point the tethers are cut and thee lair is anchored to the others already there.
It will usually take an entire season to rise through the storm and at the end of summer large breaching festivals are held to congratulate those who make it.
the ringlets pattern reminds me of the blue onion/cibulák porcelain pattern quite a bit
