Sasunaru/ Narusasu was my first ever gay ship (I was fourth grade). Just recently I decided to rewatch Naruto because I thought ten year old me was over exaggerating her arguments about their relationship. I was wrong they are gayer than I remember
Once upon a time we dreamed of the day that they could joke about having a baby together and now that this day has arrived i say kill it with fire please
this pride month i pray for free and safe Palestine for all my fellow queer Palestinians and for everyone

This is your reminder that telling rural queers to move to bigger cities or different countries because they are often more "queer friendly" is not a solution. There will always be queer people in rural towns, and not all of us want to leave our small towns. Those who do are probably stuck financially because, in case some of you don't know: relocating to a different city or country is fucking expensive.
For context, the last one isn't edited at all. Nothing could improve that.

Giving it a post in case anyone else is confused:
You can criticize Alya without being racist by /actually/ criticizing the things she's done wrong in the show, rather than making things up and pretending she did them.
If that sounds like the bare minimum, it's because it is. When we talk about "Alya salt" being a cesspool of racist garbage, we mean that people were literally just making up things to be mad about, tagging it as Alya salt, and pretending like it's an actual problem in the show.
People were saying that Alya is a vicious bully, who terrorizes Marinette with her brute strength and aggressiveness, always pushing and dragging Marinette around, and Marinette is terrified to say no to her or start an argument, because she's terrified of what Alya would do to her!!!
Or they just staright up had Alya trying to get Marinette to kill herself, or having Alya poison Marinette because the author decided that Marinette has allergies, but Alya doesn't believe her, so purposefully slips her the food she's allergic to so that Marinette almost dies, has to be hospitalized, and Alya is sued for the medical bills and disowned by her family and is living on the streets as a filthy beggar and….
I think you get the idea.
As long as what you are criticizing Alya for is something that's actually in the show, and you aren't turning her into a racist caricature for a Black woman/girl while you're criticizing her, it's fine.
This is the same problem that filled the Adrien salt tag before I started blugeoning people with actual facts and demanding they stop lying about shit just to make him look bad, and tag the shit they're literally just making up as "bashing" instead of "salt", because the crap these people were complaining about is as far from canon as it can possibly be. Not because they had any problem with Adrien's actual problem behavior, but because they shipped Marinette with some kid from Batman or something else, and therefore, if Adrien is not a love interest for Marinette, that means he has to be a horrible person. Because these people had not grasped the concept of characters being friends with other genders.
But yeah, as long as you are /actually criticizing Alya's actual behavior from the show, and not saying she's a worse person than Chloe (because 99% of Alya salt fics also tried to pretend that Chloe was Marinette's only ally and a Real Femnist™ and also a victim of the scary black girl viciously murderous bully Alya), you're probably going to be fine.
Imagine being a Parisian citizen watching Chat Noir and his girlfriend being super fucking goofy on a date, then going up to the resident Love Foretold Through Ice Cream Man all giggly and super cute and they ask for an ice cream. And the weird-ass grown-ass Ice Cream Man tells them no, he ships them with someone else
The thing about receiving prophetic messages in dreams is that interpreting them is only possible if you are both skilled in the analysis of abstract arts, and not only understand the symbolism within them, but know what they symbolise to this specific person.
For someone born and raised in Northern Europe, a dream like "I woke up to find that all the snow in my backyard had disappeared, and instead been replaced by a massive river and tropical plants. A crocodile emerged from the water and snatched a baboon that was by the riverbank, dragging it into the water and eating it" might be a sign that they feel like their life has become strange and unpredictable, out of their own control, and that they worry that there are new, unforeseen threats in this environment that they can't anticipate and aren't prepared for.
While for someone who moved there from sub-Saharan Africa, the exact same dream could just mean "I miss home."

That 60 year old woman who calls herself transexual has a lot more to teach you about the trans experience than the cis woman telling her "it's transgender now"
The autistic who calls themself low functioning has more to say about autism than the neurotypical telling them "that's offensive. It's called high support needs."
The 65 year old man who calls himself Indian knows more about being Native American than the white 20 year old who tells him “that's racist, its indigenous person.”
This is too important to be left in the tags:
