Evil wizard tasteful pin-up magazine but it's all photos of like, skinny old goths coyly fingering cursed amulets, long-bearded sorcerers doing the 'oopsie' pose as their corrosive destruction spell destroys enough of their own robes to show some skin, naked desiccated lich king positioning his staff of human skulls just so it leaves something to the imagination, dark knights in full armor just holding their soul-eating blades out in front of their codpieces, orc chieftain who did not understand the assignment and is posing with a monster he killed like one of those guys-with-fish photos. Or maybe he DID understand the assignment. Hmm.

submitting propaganda for a character that isn't in the tournament: klaasje from the game disco elysium! the amount of players who get enraged over klaasje lying to a cop is staggering and they usually react by arresting her, which eventually gets her killed. and klaasje knows she'll be killed upon arrest and tells the player so. it's honestly a bit scary how quickly some players will knowingly send her to a certain death to, i guess, punish her for being hot and manipulative. free my girl for real

I redrew this piece from 2023!

If you've been on my blog, you may have noticed I watched Backrooms (2026) recently, and though the movie has a not-so-well written last 20 mins, the overall film has inspired me artistically. Thing is, I've been super duper depressed and anxious and have had so much self-hatred lately. And the movie gives those types of emotions a sort of dreadful monotony emulated through the titular Backrooms, and represented by both Clark and Mary.

It also brings up the idea of Still Lifes- creatures manifested as the way the Backrooms remembers a person. A thing with no thoughts and supposedly no feelings, just instinct, and a design that seemingly captures the core bits of a person.

All this is to say, I drew my own Still Life of myself in order to express my mental illness. And im kinda surprised I havent seen anybody else do so? Would anyone like to see?
