Ciel was standing in the doorway of Shirou’s hotel room. Her expression was quite cross.

“You truly have learned NOTHING have you? There was a letter at the front desk that you did not pick up.” The executor held a white envelope in her hand with the name “Shirou Emiya” written on it in very neat cursive handwriting. The postmark on it read ‘Fuyuki city’.

“This letter is from your family back in Fuyuki. Why on Earth have you not responded to it? The fact they sent a letter instead of calling ALSO implies they either do not know your number, or you have been ignoring their messages. Is this dream of yours to be a hero enough that you have decided to ignore the loved ones you have?”

While she knew that the other woman still help just a bit of a grudge for certain events in the past, it was not as if she was walking around trying to start problems such as the white Len incident ALL the time. She should have simply put more thought into creating a new being out of the body of the Nights Wallachia then she had at the time.  But he was willing to let bygones be bygones despite it all. “Are you sure it was not little miss true ancestor? Or even the church that somehow messed something up this time? Its not like I am everywhere at once causing you problems Ciel. I have better things to do.” Though given the fact that she could time travel, that would not be outside of the realm of possibilities. But Aoko was not going to mention that to the executioner just yet.

“Oh don’t give me that. You act like I don’t know you have the Fifth Magic. Remember, I still have all of Roa’s memories. He kept track of who had what.”

As loath as Ciel was to rely on the information she had learned while the vessel for that damnable vampire who made her a living paradox who had to bear the guilt of murdering her whole village until the princess came and ended her life for a time, it still had benefits. In truth, Ciel was technically a magus like Roa. He had knowledge of many forms of magecraft and abilities such as high-speed incantation that had been passed on to her. That combined with her strong magic circuits meant that she could have been a formidable mage with the association, had the church not intervened. Ciel’s hatred of Roa however meant she refused to pursue this path, letting her natural talent languish to the point of near uselessness.

“Furthermore, Arcueid was the first one I checked. She’s off on vacation to Hawaii with Tohno-kun and his family. The church also is uninvolved, considering that they haven’t sent me to take care of anything. I know your reputation, miss blue. You’re a wild cannon that damages everything in your path.”

Since he had been in Misaki town, Ciel decided to invite her friend Shirou over for lunch. Unfortunately he seemed to have missed the memo that Ciel was obsessed with curry. The fact that he showed any disdain for it was greatly anger-inducing for her. The tone of her voice was venomous, clearly saying ‘eat the curry or I will take the seventh holy scripture and blow your head off, hero boy.’

Ciel put down the sniper rifle and removed the magazine from it, showing the hero its ammunition. All the rounds had unusual markings on them, like they had been enchanted with magecraft.

“That round I fired was directly in his path of movement. Once he trips over it, the magic net will trigger, and you can move in to distract him. Once that’s done, I’ll take the shot at his neck with my blessed rounds. I only need a single one.”

When it came to her job, Ciel’s normally kind personality was sublimated for a serious one. She was a member of the Burial Agency after all, and for the Church to ask her to take out a dead apostle, with help from a freelance magus no less, meant this was a significant target.

Ciel knew Arcueid would do something that petty. They had been fighting over Shiki Tohno's affections ever since he had killed Michael Roa Valdamjong, this was just another chapter in their game.
