Why is Charles after the liars?

Everybody is making theories about what happened to Charles and how he is connected to the Dilaurentis family etc. But why would he hurt the liars? I think this is the most important question of all, but it seems like nobody’s  really focusing on this question.

There are loads of theories about the past of Charles, but how is this connected to the liars, and not just ONE of the liars, all of them? I mean if Charles was put in Radley by his parents, why isn’t he going after them, or just his own family?

I mean what could possibly be his motive to hurt Emily? For as far as we know, she isn’t connected to Charles in any way.

I think the liars are more connected to the whole story than we may think they are.

Charles is dead, Aria is a killer.

Charlie is dead. Somebody’s mad because Charlie is dead. This person built the dollhouse.

In the dollhouse you see the memories of Charles when he was young, no pictures of him around the age of 12, only stuff of when he was younger than 6/7. If the A in the dollhouse would really be the boy in the video, than why is he so obsessed with his early years? To me it seems like somebody remembering Charlie. That's what makes me think that Charlie is dead and somebody who truly loved him is after the killer.

This 'A' person knows that the liars have something to do with the death of Charlie otherwise he/she wouldn’t be after them.

What if A put the liars in the dollhouse because he thinks one of them killed Charlie and he/she wants to find out who’s the killer. A made them play those games so the killer would reveal herself. He thought that she would come clean if she was ordered to hurt her friends. He didn’t really hurt the others because he didn’t want the innocent to be hurt. 

This girl A’s after is probably Aria. She seems to have a personal disorder. I mean you have to admit that there are so many suspicious things about Aria. Like in the last episode, 6x03, she’s taking a picture of herself in the mirror. It isn’t the first time she’s standing like that in front of her mirror. I think it’s one of the biggest clues about her having an ilness.

I think Aria doesn’t remember what happened in the past, she doesn’t remember that it was her who killed Charlie. I think she has multiple personalities and that’s why A’s plan didn’t work out. In the last episode we see her looking into the mirror through the camera and looking at the doll, she looks like she’s remembering something vagualy, I think she has a split personality.   I think the only reason for someone to be so focused on finding Charlie’s killer is because that person is closely related to him, like mother/father or brother/sister. I don’t think it could be a friend, because it happened ages ago and I think that somebody wouldn’t spend his/her life trying to find the killer of his/her childhood friend.

I think Aria might be seen as A or as Uber A. I think that at the end of the season they’ll either reveal Aria as ‘an A’ or they’ll reveal who set up the dollhouse.

Maybe they’ll find out in 6x10 the reason why ‘Dollhouse A’ made them live in the dollhouse, because one of them is a killer.

Sara Shepard's new book!

Today is ofcourse PLL day, but it's also the day that the new book of Sara Shepard (Writer of the PLL books) comes out, 'The Good Girls'. It's a book that will be turned into a tv-show, so if PLL is over, you can take a look at this show!

At the beginning of the year we bought 'The Perfectionists' and we really enjoyed it. It kind of reminds us of Pretty Little Liars which is a good thing. It has some great plot twists and it's absolutely worth reading. We hope the second, which is also the last, book will give the story a great ending. We can't wait to read it.

Charles and Ali working together

Charles is charles. 

Charles hates the girls, but doesn’t hate Ali. Charles is somehow related to Ali or her family and thinks that one of the liars is A. This is confirmed by Sasha: ‘’I can tell you that Charles is somehow related to the DiLaurentis family’’

He knows what happened the night Ali went missing. It has everything to do with the liars. He is going to make them replay that night so they’ll figure out that one of the girls is actually a liar and had something to do with what happened that night that’ll make everything fit together.  Charles is someone who had a lot time because he build a whole dollhouse. He could have been in Radley and sneaked out in the night. Everything leads back to Radley, so all the answers are in Radley and if Charles is/was in Radley, that would mean he has all the answers. He wants to show the liars the answers he knows so they’ll realize that they’re not as innocent as they think they are and show them that they might not be the only ones who were hurt by what happened that night.

Janel said that in the first two seconds of the new episode we will see something that will leave us in shock, a scene from a totally different perspective. Everybody assumes it’s the video where you see Jessica, the girl and the two boys, but what if it’s another scene we’ve seen, a scene from 5x25.

Charles is probably going to make them replay the night Ali went missing. What if just near the end they’re about to see the biggest clue yet. Aria is called to do something but at that moment they see a way out of the dollhouse and they escape. But Lucy said in an interview that Aria and the liars might not be as close as they used to be after they escape the dollhouse. ‘’They're going to go their own separate ways.’’ So what if they escaped just as A was about to show all of the girls that Aria had done something bad. We think that would be an awesome twist in the story.

In the promo from 6x01 Ali says: ‘’I would do anything to see my friends again. My friends have always been my rock. Without them I’m lost in the woods. All alone.’’ This is Ali communicating with Charles. She wants to meet up with him at the kissing rock, in the woods to discuss their plan. Because Ali and Charles are related and Ali knows that Charles thinks that one of the liars is Big A and Ali agrees with this.

Other clues that Charles works with Ali are that making the dollhouse costs a lot of money. Who has a lot of money? Right, Ali. Ali always had her ways. Another clue is that Ali had all the time to work together with Charles because we don’t really know what she was doing the time she was ‘dead’. She also knew all the secrets of the girls and she could’ve told Charles.

So the whole dollhouse is Charles and Ali’s idea. This would make a lot of sense because Ali knew that A kidnapped the liars when Veronica asked. And when Veronica heard that the liars were kidnapped her first thought was that Alison must be involved. So she was right, only in another way

Charles put Ali in jail because Ali didn’t want to go through with the plan of the dollhouse. She told Charles that it was crossing the boundaries. Charles was afraid that Ali would warn the liars about the dollhouse. That’s why he put her in jail, she was a big threat, she had to keep her mouth shut.

That’s why Ali wants to meet up with Charles. She wants to change his mind so he will let the girls go. She convinced Charles and Charles let the girls free. But at the same moment the liars find out a big clue that Aria is somehow involved with the actions of Big A.

Marion and Jessica

What if the twin story that Alison told Hanna in 2x13 was about Jessica and Marion? I mean they look a like. What if they where twins? Meaning that they have similair DNA.

This means that Jessica was the one who pushed Marion out of the window. But why would she hate her sister so much that she kills her? Or it wasn’t about hate, maybe Marion knew a secret about Jessica and Marion was ready to reveal it but Jessica couldn’t let that happen. The secret Marion knew about Jessica is that Bethany is Jessica’s child and not Marions and Marion wanted to tell Bethany this because she thought that Bethany should know who her real mother is.

According to Toby, Marion died in 2007, ACCORDING. We don’t know of this is the truth or not. Maybe Marion wanted Toby to think that she was dead because she thought he was better of without her.

Alison told the the twin story to Hanna, does this mean something? Why would she do that?

She probably wanted to share this with someone, but she told it in an other perspective. She pretended it was just a Halloween story with unknown people. But Alison probably knew the true story when she told Hanna. But why to Hanna? Hanna and Alison had the most fights. This could mean that Ali trusted Hanna a lot because she knew they were family.

In 4x14 Hanna says: ‘’It still means that there’s a girl missing, and that girl went missing the same time Ali did. So if we figure out who’s really in there, and connect them to someone we do know, that would solve the whole thing. It was important to someone that we think it was Ali.’’

Exactly! ‘’It was important to someone that we think it was Ali.’’ Bethany killed Alison, as revenge that Jessica was her mother and that she kept it a secret. She wanted to confront Jessica with the truth but then she saw Alison and came up with the idea to kill Ali as revenge. Jessica kept saying ‘’What have you done?’’ to the one who hit Alison. Jessica buried Ali but later Ali was saved by Mrs. Grunwald. In 4x24 Holden said to Jessica: ‘’We’re not certain your daughter is in that grave’’, Jessica answers that with: ‘’Well I am’’ so it was important to someone that Jessica thought that Ali was in the grave. But why?

Mona & Ali

Why are Mona and Ali both wearing the clothes that Ali wore the night she disappeared? Why does Charles need 2 Ali's?

in the promo alisons wearing the yellow top, but it doesn't look like it would be a flash back, because she looks so different. I thought they would of at least made her hair longer like it was before.

Not a flashback. I did not mean we were literally flashing back. We’re going back to the root of the whole show metaphorically!

But that means that the liars have all the answers to what happened that night, just as Ali told Hanna in season 1 in the hospital.

Radley Sanitarium - Charles

What if Ali isn’t Jessica’s child, and Bethany is. This makes sense with the picture that Jason showed from a ski vacation and Ali didn’t remember that because that wasn’t Ali who is on the picture, that’s Bethany. So this is also a clue that Ali doens’t remember it, or she is prentending not to know.

What if Ali is Marion’s child. What if Jessica is the one who pushed Marion out of the window, because Marion wanted to see Ali, because Ali is her child, but this couldn’t happen because Ali lives with Jessica now, and Ali doesn’t know that Jessica isn’t her mother. This secret couldn’t come out so Jessica had to push Marion out of the window and made it look like a suicide. Jessica had acces to Marion because she works with the Board of Trustees in Radley.

The girl in the video of 5x25 is Bethany. One of the boys is Jason and the other boy is Charles. Bethany was in Radley, that’s where she met Charles. Bethany was in Radley because she had anger issues. Charles was in Radley because Jessica put him there because Charles is Peter and Jessica’s child. Nobody could know that because Peter wants to keep it a secret because he doens’t want to lose Veronica. Remember when Peter said this to Jessica in 4x24: “Jessica, do we still have an understanding?” That understanding was about keeping Charles a secret.

At the time that Charles was in Radley Jessica often took him out on trips, just like she did with Bethany. Charles knows that Jessica is his mother and he also knows that Bethany is his sister and he knows that they have the same mother. But he can’t tell Bethany this because that’s what Jessica told him. Jessica said to Charles that he couldn’t say it to Bethany and if he didn’t listen that Jessica would stop with taking him out on trips, and Charles didn’t want the trips to stop because he loves his mother and he didn’t want to lose her because she is the only parent who cares about him.

Bethany also met Jessica in Radley. Jessica often took her out on day trips too. Bethany didn’t know that Jessica was her mother. When Bethany found out that Jessica is her mother she escaped Radley because she was really mad. Charles thought she was going to hurt Jessica and he ran after her. Charles tried to stop Bethany when he saw her in front of Jessica’s house, he accidentally hit Alison because he thought that Ali was Bethany. Jessica saw what happened but Charles was her son so she had to protect him otherwise the secret would come out.

Later Charles found out that he hit Alison. He was really upset because he and Alison are friends and working together on catching Big A, read this theory of us: (it’s about Charles and Ali working together to catch Big A)

What if Charles was the one filming the video?!

Have we ever thought about the person filming the video in 5x25? Someone was with Jessica, the two boys and the girl. But who?

What if Charles is the one filming the video of 5x25.

It makes sense if Charles is the one who is filming because Charles feels really unloved. So this time he is feeling shut out again because he is the one who is filming. He couldn’t be in the video because there has to be someone who is filming and that’s Charles. So this means that Charles isn’t one of the boys.  

This would make Charles older than we think he is. He could be the father of one of the boys and/or the girl. Did he have a relationship with Jessica?

Charles’ sister

When Spencer demands that her Mom tells her what happened the summer Alison went missing, because she doesn’t remember. Her Mom tells her to “consider it a blessing’’. And right after that scene Jessica walks into Spencer’s room. That is basically reflecting what happened the night Alison disappeared. What if she didn't want to hurt Spencer, but actually tell her the truth about something, and when Veronica called she realized that she and Spencer weren't alone and left. After that she was murdered. Was it because she was ready to reveal something?

Then after this scene there is the A scene. When the A scene is on there is a song playing what says:

Hey little sister what have you done? Hey little sister who's the only one? Hey little sister who's your superman? Hey little sister who's the one you want? Hey little sister shot gun! It's a nice day for a white wedding.

Some other lines from this song are: I've been away for so long (so long) I let you go for so long

Okay so who is the little sister? Is this Charles talking about Spencer? Is Charles Spencer’s brother? This could be the reason that Charles shows up when Spencer was watching the video with Mrs. DiLaurentis and the two boys (5x25). Charles wanted to see Spencer’s reaction. He wanted to see if Spencer remembered it. So Spencer is the baby that Mrs. DiLaurentis is holding and Charles is the boy that  kisses his little sister.

Charles (Active A) and Big A not working together?!

There’s Active A and there’s Big A. Charles is Active A

What if they are not a team? What if Charles thinks that one of the liars is Big A? And Big A is harassing Alison? That’s why Charles is harassing the liars, because he thinks that one of them is harassing Alison. Maybe that’s not even true but he thinks so. He doesn’t care that he is hurting all of them, he wants to hurt Big A no matter what it cost. So that’s the reason why Charles is Active A, because he thinks that one of the liars is hurting Alison.

But who is Charles? We don’t know. All we know that he has somehow a special connection with Alison. He likes/loves her so much that he will do anything for her to protect her. This is probably also the reason why Alison is in jail, because Charles thinks that when Alison is in jail, she’s save. So the dollhouse was Charles idea because he wants to find out who of the liars is Big A.

It would make sense if one of the liars is Big A, I mean there are a lot of clues the liars are somehow involved.

But of course Charles could also be very wrong.

How can Charles have so much money? Well, like I said before, he probarly has a special connection with Alison. Alison always had her ways, she could have told him how she did it or maybe Alison knows about all this and she is giving him the money. That could also be the reason why Alison knew where the liars were (she told veronica), because Alison knew of Charles his plan or it could be her idea.

Btw when the liars where kidnapped Veronica’s first thought was that Alison had somehow something to do with it. Maybe she was right, only in an another way.

The note: Because you’re my favorite. Charles gave that to Mona, who is Alison in the dollhouse. That makes sense because Alison is, of course, his favorite.

Possible Ending 5x25

What if Mona faked her death to find out who A is. In the time she was ‘’dead’’ she figured out the biggest clue ever. She followed everyone everywhere. In the time she faked her death she had enough time to make the dollhouse. She makes the plan to kidnap the liars and put them in the dollhouse.

First possibility:

While the liars are in here she wants to figure out the last piece of her investigation. She wants to make the liars spill all of their secrets to each other.

Which includes, which one of the liars is A?

Second possibility:

Mona is trapped and not one of the liars is A. The real A stole Mona’s idea and now A is taking the lead.

 (the spoilers tell otherwise but this could be good possibility’s if you don’t believe the spoilers)
