It had been just a few hours since Elesis had entered town again. Walking through the streets everything seemed the same besides the snow on the ground of course. It wasn’t much of a walk from where she entered the city thankfully, because Elesis hated the snow. Slipping and falling now and then she made her way to El’s Essence her home though the door was standing wide open and even with her key out to open it this shocked her. Putting her key away she moved her bag over her shoulder and got prepared for anything, but she didn’t prepare for the thing she saw. There was a red haired man wiping down the tables and the fact he didn’t even look up to see who it was made her mad. So she silent put her things on the ground and cracked her neck then knuckles.
“You think i don’t know this place opens in thirty minutes, i’ve barely been gone for a month i could have swore i shut this place down. Anyways, i know when this place opens, i set those times in the first place.” Elesis proclaimed this with pride though she didn’t have any idea who she was talking to or why they were in her restaurant. “What the he** are you even doing here? I didn’t hire any employees yet…you broke in then? To…wipe down my tables and run my business? No…that doesn’t make sense…Who are you?”
Elesis looked at the male with her cold stare intending for the man to feel like her stare was going to cut him. Elesis had grown over the month or at least her methods of intimidation changed. The scarf she wore covered her mouth and neck one hand behind her and balled into a fist ready to retaliate if this person meant harm.
Elsword looks up from the tables finally, laying the rag over his shoulder as he turns to the woman who had just walked in. Her eyes were intimidating glaring at him like she had the right to be mad that he was in here tending to his sister’s restaurant. He didn’t back down from her gaze, instead he returned her’s with one of his own crossing his arms across his chest refusing to back down. He’d stayed with Vanessa for such a long time and her gaze was like ice most of the time, if he could live with her eyes on him then this stranger wouldn’t be able to bother him. Still she looked pretty peeved and Elsword had hardly said much to her and it wasn’t even that rude, well at least he didn’t think so. Still something about her, the way she stood, her voice, had they met somewhere before? Because it was ringing all sorts of bells, but he had no clue who this woman even was.
“I didn’t break in” he retorts, he technically got a local locksmith to let him and make him a key. So no he didn’t break into the restaurant but its not like had been blessed with a key in that shady letter. It wasn’t any of her business either! “I’m not running your business, I’m running my sister’s!”
His temper had already begun to flair sparked from the minor annoyance of being bothered this early in the morning and doused with false accusations being laid at his feet. She asked for his name and he had half a mind not to respond and demand her’s in return along with an explanation before he’d ask her to leave. But he doesn’t instead he taps his food against the floor and lets out a sigh out of pure irritation.
“Coming in here like you own the place and asking me for my name? Didn’t anyone teach you any manners?” he pauses for just a moment before begrudgingly answering her question, “Elsword Sieghart.”
“Now,” he turns the question back over at her, “who are you?” and as an afterthought he adds, “And what are you doing here?”
