Okay I have about 2 more starters to go, so I’ll be finishing them up tomorrow! Time to finish up my project that I forgot was due.
Shellfish ♕ Red & Keith

The champion paused in unhooking the fish as he felt the mouse pokemon’s tiny paws digging into his shoulder, its lithe body tense and ready to either fight or run upon command. He however, could not see what exactly had made his pokemon on guard, as the forest was as silent with only the trees rustling as it followed the wind’s pattern.
Finally, a cry of a pokemon he didn’t recognize echoed in the forest, followed by a sound that he did recognize--a Kabutop’s agitated cry. He couldn’t mistake that pokemon, since he had one in his PC back in Kanto. The trainer stood up at once, fishing rod and bag left by the pond as he let his Pikachu lead the way.
After a few minutes of running through the undergrowth as red hues focused on the yellow pelt of the electric mouse, he soon saw what had caused a Kabutop’s cry. A male, holding a orange pokemon in his hands seemed to be trying to run from it--since he could see the boy’s fatigued figure. Had he stumbled upon the shellfish pokemon’s nest? Or was it just naturally hostile thanks to its nature?
Either way, he had to help. Fingers soon grazed the pokeball of his beloved water type before with a flash of light came from the spherical object. With his Blastoise materialized, he pointed toward the Kabutops before his words formed in a hoarse voice.
“Hydro Cannon.”
At once, water shot out from the cannon like tubes in it’s shell, effectively hitting the brown pokemon back into the undergrowth. His mouse pokemon soon raced its way over before pulling on the other male’s socks as if to say “Quick, Get Away!”
Whatever effect of surprise the champion had caused had now faded, evident as he heard the large pokemon’s steps coming back towards the two trainers.

“Yaah!” Runa shrieked shrilly. The boom of thunder was far louder than she had anticipated, startling her out of bed, landing on the floor with a thump. Dianne padded up to her fallen trainer, visibly amused at her lack of grace. “Nngh,” she groaned, feeling slightly dizzy from her abrupt awakening and subsequent fall. What on earth was the time? Looking out the window was no help — the torrential rainstorm turned the world a dark grey blur. Groggily, she groped around for her Holo Caster, extracting it from the depths of her bag with a small cry of success. The blinking numbers it displayed was less welcome; a good hour or so before sunrise (not that they were likely to see the sun today). Rather early, considering the late hour she had fallen asleep at.
However, now that she was up, there wasn’t any chance of her being able to go back to sleep. Well, she might as well start her day now, and take a nap later on, or just go to bed earlier tonight. Rolling out of the mess of blankets, she set about preparing breakfast for her and her Pokémon. It was a pleasant affair, the sound of thudding rain lulling her into quiet contemplation, one that even lightning and thunder couldn’t interrupt. In the end, it took Dianne nipping at her hand to return to reality. Lynne was tapping at the window, round body almost quivering in excitement. Looking outside, Runa could see a plethora of water-type Pokémon enjoying the weather, not only Woopers and Duckletts, but even Oshawotts and was that a Vaporeon? “Oh,” she breathed, slowly feeling excitement herself. “So who wants to go outside?”
As expected, Lynne was quite vocal and physical in displaying her excitement, accidentally knocking a wing into the wall. Lunis and Solani adamantly did not wish to get wet, and Cherubi was settling in for a nap. Dianne didn’t seem very interested in going outside either. With deft, practiced hands, she wove her hair into a sensible braid, tucking the tail into her rain jacket. One last reminder for the rest of them to behave, and Runa opened the door, rain splattering into the room immediately. Lynne rushed outside with a cry of joy, delighting in storm.
The lightning and thunder had abated, although the rain was just as vigorous. Laughing, Runa twirled freely, arms flung out widely. It had been a long time since she could just enjoy such weather without worrying about finding shelter while travelling. The cold rain was a nice change from the perpetual sunshine ever since she found herself in the Forest.
Lynne seemed to be getting along quite well with the wild Pokémon, chasing each other around the clearing. Runa was content to just watch them play, going to stand beneath a tree. Luckily for her, she noticed the Stunfisk underfoot right before she could trod on it. Her abrupt change in direction lead to her arms pinwheeling wildly to keep her balance, but in the end the slick grass lead to her falling flat on her face.
Since he had been on the snowy mountain of Mount Silver for over a year, this change in tempature was hardly something he noticed. He had taken shelter under a tall tree however, that was near a large pond that overflowed thanks to this sudden thunder storm.
Fingers had been holding a key that he had found while exploring, and now he gazed at it lazily through half lidded eyes. His Blastoise had been called out once he had seen water types celebrating the downpour, while his lapras floated peacefully in the overflowed pond. His pikachu seemed content with just napping in his lap. The key was small, silver and clearly was supposed to be used to open a vacant house that was littered throughout the area.
The storm had been the thing to interupt his search, seeing as rain water kept getting into his eyes and blurred his vision. The Kanto champion probably would miss the key holes for the houses, and he doubted he could even find the house in this weather. So he would sit in silence, like he often did on the mountain.
Wild pokemon ran past him soon, the trainer had escaped tehir curious gaze thanks to the Blastoise's big build blocking him from sight. He could see a girl though, watching the group of pokemon play in the rain. Crimson hues watched her cuiriously as he saw her swerve to the side suddenly, before falling down onto the wet grassy forest.
There was a moment of hesitation before he stood up, stretching his stiff limbs as his hand released the key into his pocket, and his Pikachu rushing over to observe the fallen trainer.
A hand was out stretched towards her after, as he offered it to help assist her without a word.
Gone ♕ Red & Lyra
kumiuta
Scarlet hues gazed around the quiet clearing for the seemingly hundredth or even thousandth time. A meadow, a completely different environment compared to the never-ending winter of Mount Silver had greeted him when he woke up which was strange--he did not leave the mountain. He couldn’t. Not with a trainer missing because of him.
A soft sigh escaped as he continued to flip through his notebook, chin tucked in to rest on his Pikachu’s head. The pokemon had situated itself comfortably between his shirt and his torso, a habit it had done while the pokemon were in the freezing temperatures of the mountain. It seemed to be reading his the messily scrawled writing along with him.
He had gotten into the habit of sketching, or writing notes about the places he had been, but there was no place like this in it. Clearly he was not in Kanto anymore, but there was no logical reason why he ended up here. He had fallen asleep in his usual campsite after an unsuccessful search for the female trainer, and woke up in a field of grass with a swinub crawling over him in search of berries.
Gloved digits continued to flip through the old book as his red gaze skimmed every page, drawing and doodle he had done. The thing that soon broke him out of his trance was when he heard his Pikachu’s excited cry. The twitching ears of the pokemon grazed his cheek softly, as the mouse pokemon jumped out of his shirt, before breaking into a dash between the trees.
His book was stuffed back into his bag, before he stumbled up and jogged to keep up, catching sight of the electric type’s triangular tail vanishing between the bushes. His ears picked up an excited gasp before a sigh escaped.
Had his Pikachu tackled someone by mistake?
