# BURSERKS. HORROR-BASED SAÏX / ISA, THE LUNA DIVINER OF KINGDOM HEARTS. HEAVILY AFFILIATED WITH ASTRO'S AXEL. ESTABLISHED DECEMBER 2022. SIDEBLOG.
¹ RULES.
i. due to the nature of isa's character, dark and violent themes will inevitably be present. follow this blog at your own discretion; general dark themes will go untagged, though i try to tag common phobias, darker visuals, etc. please take note that this blog will take inspiration from various sources of werewolf lore, the history of the norse berserker, and the ancient concepts of the moon being a harborer of emotion and supernatural ability, including the traditional concept of lunacy. you are more than welcome to ask me to tag something that makes you uncomfortable. this blog is 18+. no exceptions.
ii. basic DNI and roleplay etiquette applies. this is a highly selective blog. if you're going to break mutuals with me, i ask that you softblock. do not follow and re-follow repeatedly if i do not follow back; i will hardblock you for that. i occasionally go on softblock sprees, purging inactive accounts and blogs that have not bothered to reach out to me when i have tried to do the same. i curate a small, comfortable online space for a reason, and do not practice follow for follow.
iii. this is a headcanon-based blog. still, i derive most of my inspiration from the games themselves. i'm pretty new to the fandom, however, and parts of the complex lore may occasionally be forgotten. forgive me in advance!
iv. saïx is an inherently unshippable character. i'm exclusive to shipping with astro due to this, being much more comfortable having dynamics such as these with close friends.
v. i'm not online all the time, and this blog is low activity. please, do not rush me for replies. i value communication, however, and if you noticed i missed a thread of yours (i like every reply that i receive as to bookmark it for later) you are more than welcome to drop me a DM about it.

— name. saïx / isa. — title. the luna diviner. rank vii of the organization. — age. around 28. — height. 6'6". — gender. nonbinary + transmasc (they/he). — sexual orientation. gay. — eyes. teal; during vesselhood, golden. — hair. pale blue. — attributes. typically nocturnal. fanged canine teeth. naturally elongated nails, like claws. pointed ears. twin scars intersecting at the bridge of his nose, resembling the shape of an x. multiple piercings, including lobes, nostrils, septum, industrial, nipples, bridge, tongue, and more. other scars from battles rip through most of the skin, particularly the arms and torso. when berserk: claws and teeth grow, hair rustling up. eyes turn completely golden. scar broadens and becomes more harsh, serrated as if the skin were ripped rather than sliced. — disposition. typically calm, grounded, and observant. as a nobody, saïx can be incredibly emotionless, their apathy occasionally teetering into authentic cruelty. can be incredibly possessive, territorial, and jealous, even outside of a berserker state. when berserk: utterly monstrous. primally violent. yells, growls, and roars, with no true goal outside of harming those around them. — abilities. an expert swordsman and combatant, saïx relies on his brute strength while fighting. however, his most powerful asset is his ability to go berserk, drawing raw energy from the moon and rendering him devastatingly powerful, with the ability to rip through opponents with profound ease. it should be noted, however, that the berserk stage is limited, and upon reverting back into their original state, saïx grows exhausted and disoriented for some time thereafter. — arsenal. claymores. saïx's primary choice of weapon, having twenty-four individual and unique blades. the most common of these claymores is one entitled lunatic, a massive, bludgeoning, two-bladed weapon which channels the moon's powers. upon going berserk, the claymores expand in size, aerodynamics, and durability.
³ VERSES.
organization. the majority of his in-game timeline. second command to xemnas after they and axel worked together in order to raise them through the ranks. despite their mutinous ploy, saïx appears to be having authentic loyalties towards xemnas. as time progresses, however, the strain between duty and valued interpersonal relationships begins to overwhelm, and the apathy which had weighed upon him for so long steers towards altruism.
post-kh3. having regained his heart, isa remains incredibly conflicted with the onslaught of emotion, rectifying past mistakes, and rediscovering themself. as a vessel for xehanort for many years, alongside the mystical ability to go berserk, they have not been truly themselves for so long, that simply being feels foreign to them. they relocate to his home world of radiant gardens alongside lea, with whom he shares a home. both of them become members of the radiant gardens restoration committee.
