Just finished rule of wolves. I’m furious. I really didn’t like Nina’s ending. I really wanted her to go back to Ravka and be the girlboss she is. Nina is such like a loud and out there character and now she is living in a country where she literally cannot be who she is. Doesn’t make sense to me. And she called hanne/rasmus ’My love’ and I cried so hard cos Helnik. It felt so rushed their relationship. Like I swear it’s been less than a year since the events of crooked kingdom so it feels icky. I feel as though I may of liked their relationship if it wasn’t so immediate (?) Like I understand it took place over two books but like it didn’t feel right. I think hanne/rasmus is a really interesting character and I wished I liked them more than I do but I don’t think they can live up to Matthias (and now I’m crying fucking hell) anyway. Stan Zoya !! Omg another reason I want Nina to go to ravka was the Zoya and Nina relationship is so fun. Like Zoya is such a pissed off older sister to Nina any I think it’s such a fun dynamic to explore but ok Miss Leigh you’re the author. I just really wished Matthias didn’t fucking die. Every time I think of him or what he and Nina could of had I cry and I wasn’t over crooked kingdom tbf but still in the timeline it feels like a week. If the show kills off Matthias I’m going with him. BUT PLEASE I RLLY WANTED TO LIKE HANNE/RASMUS AND NINA I JUST CANTTTT ik I would of liked their relationship if there had been more time before ck and kos tbf

i headcannon that Nina and Adrik were childhood best friend and then when everyone thought she was dead Adrik was obviously sad and eventually he kinda like accepted her death and then she was ‘Hey guys!!’ so then their relationship kinda changed a bit but they still loved eachother (platonically ofc)

the crows and getting drunk

because this is a thing i suddenly started thinking about just now, have some hcs for when the crows get drunk

kaz never gets drunk. ever. he did it Once and decided the next morning that he hated how much the alcohol dulls his senses. he likes to stay Sharp and Alert so after that One Time he got wasted he decided to never touch alcohol ever again

inej has never once drank any alcohol in her life. she finds the very concept of drinking to be abhorrent

jesper gets even MORE excitable and hyper when he gets drunk. how? nobody knows. not even him.

wylan has only ever had little sips of wine, never enough to get drunk. but if he ever does he'd prolly be a little more clumsy than normal. just a little

nina's a sleepy drunk. that is all
