This is me crawling out from under my rock to tell you all how completely my mind is being blown by this short book on the craft of romance writing. 

Like legit status. I’m so stupidly excited about the content that I’m hastily rewriting my WIP’s outline to make sure it reflects what I’m learning. And a lot of what Gwen Hayes talks about I’m sure many authors do automatically just by virtue of being exceedingly familiar with the romance genre, but seeing the finer points of romance laid out in an easy to follow, thorough (and thoroughly entertaining) manner, is a joy. 

If you want to write romance (or want to up your romantic fanfic game), I highly recommend giving this book a gander.
