This cat is stunning
Stop being so afraid to be confident. There’s actually a lot of great things about you. Don’t deny those things, embrace them. You’re beautiful and smart and kind and you need to stop punishing yourself for acknowledging it and trying to believe it.

I hope you all have a beautiful 2020 filled with love and warmth. You deserve the best!
may 2020 bring healing. may 2020 bring peace. may 2020 bring kindness.

It’s that time of year again
Just a reminder as the New Year’s resolutions start up again:
- Losing weight doesn’t make anyone “better” than they were before.
- You do not have to congratulate or support anyone who tries to lose weight.
- Losing weight isn’t equivalent to “taking care of yourself.”
- Holidays are supposed to be enjoyed. Regretting one’s enjoyment in the form of a punishing exercise or fasting regime drains the joy from holidays.
- You do not have to feel guilty for not dieting around others who are.
- Weight loss does not produce a “new you!” People who lose weight are the same people, with the same rights and deserts. They did not earn the privileges they get from being thin(ner).
- Thin privilege is a helluva drug. Stay mentally and physically safe, this season. If you are considering losing weight through some regime or surgically, consider putting off your decision until after the peer pressure of resolution season has died down.
- If you want to change your life, change it in ways that are measurable in happiness, not in tape-measure inches and numbers on a scale.
