it doesn't necessarily make carter jealous it's just more so her thinking it's very funny that isa likes her and doesn't like carter so she'll use it to exaggerate her skills. like oh could you say that again I don't think carter heard it 🤭 it's for propping herself up more than anything. I don't think carter gets very jealous in general with phan because of the relative disinterest that phan gives to the rest of the population. even with brannigan it's more like... concern

now you know phan isn't normal. yes she thinks both of these things constantly. it's useful because it helps her put all the blame on carter for instigating everything instead of admitting that she's just super horny and jealous all the time for no reason. however carter is not normal either so like half of the time when phan thinks this carter IS actually trying to provoke her into doing something about it. because it's easier for her to do that than actually say "Hey phan can we have sex where you're kind of mean to me."
