Black Widow Movie Theory
Here’s my theory....
At the end(ish) of Civil War we watch as Tony and Nat argue and Nat walks off. If you watch the Black Widow trailer, she’s narrating it a little.
My theory is that Tony Stark was sent to get her and arrest her, but when he found her in Budapest she explained her story and he deiced not to. Instead he lied to the government, telling them she escaped and returned to Pepper in NYC.
Some other evidence I have is that when they meet again, they seem to be on good terms, much better than they left off on. Seeing as RDJ is also in the cast list for Black Widow, I think this theory is actually very possible, because where else would he fit into the movie?
Another part is the in an interview Scarlett repeatedly mentions that this film will bring closure to Nat’s character. The only way I can really think about this happening is if we learn the entire story. Everything about The Red Room, Budapest, her other missions, how Clint met her, etc.
Personally I think it would be enough if Nat sat down with Tony and told him her entire story. I REALLY want this ot be true.
